Now I wish I could unread this comment lol.... Nah, joking, this just made me laugh out loud.

But man, I will be bitter if Mitsuki turns out to not be a real kid. Both because I like him as a kid and because he's too similar to Orochimaru for it to be surprising (the eye shape, the eye colour & the clothes). It would be lame.

 

Also I agree with you that Salad looking so much like Karin should bother the SS fans. I know I'd be mad if a NS daughter looked like a NH or a SS baby. I think they're all just pretending to not notice the similarities... since it would be pretty much impossible to not see them.

 

I think Hinata's dead. (not really, just a wild theory... aaand now nobody will believe that I actually like part 1 Hinata lol)

 

Karin though? I honestly don't know. I think it would be cool to have Salad meet her, biological mother or not.

Imagine if we got canon and our son looked like Boruto but with straight bangs and straight hair like Hinata's.  Not saying that's ugly, but that's not our child. And then we'd constantly be yelling "Anybody can change their hairstyles" to combat against anti-NS fans. But deep inside we'd have to ask ourselves: why did Kishimoto do that in the first place? 

 

And that's exactly what SS fans should be asking now. Why would he even design Sarada like that? She doesn't have a lick of Sakura in her. The only hint was her forehead in chapter 700, but now she looks completely like Karin with black hair.  

 

And I think Karin is dead, but Hinata will die in Boruto: The Movie. That way Kishimoto can please all of his fans- even the anti ones lol.

Like somebody put it so eloquently before....... I hate what the kids stand for and not the kids themselves.

i think Kishi originally wanted Naruto and his eventual family to be somewhat "normal" but spectacular at the same time. None of these super flashy clan powers or huge names. So when Hinata replaced Sakura as Naruto's eventual wife, he stripped her of her birthright and decided not to give either child her clan's superhuman ability. 

 

Becoming head of her clan and using her position to better the Hyuuga i believe, was 100% going to be Hinata's big ending. She was going to grow out of needing to draw confidence and strength from Naruto and instead stand on her own two feet and take her father on for herself, proving she was just as capable as her little sister and Neji.

 

He probably turned her into a houswife as vengeance and punishment for her crazy fans and stripping sakura of her role as a main character. She doesn't seem active and busy at all during the middle of the day.

 

Kenji taira actually developed her character in the spinoff which felt consistent with part 1. Hannabi is literally a female ninja and is able to defeat her and prove her worth to dad. Its heartwarming. hinatards considers it inferior to part 2 hinata lol.
