Think about Junko's words: we will see Hinata's cute SINGLE MINDED LOVE and when it comes to Sakura she says THAT TYPE OF WONDERFUL LOVE... Ergo NaruSaku is canon, canon depiction doesn't chage: Hinata's love for Naruto is selfish - Kushina told him to NOT go with the WEIRD girl - while Sakura's one is selfless as proven by her confession - go for a girl like your mother ergo confirmed parallel - NaruHina is the awkward love (IT) while NaruSaku one is the beatiful one (the real one) ergo canon in The Last?

 

I know whatcha mean, Chatte, especially since with Hinata that she doesn't have a good understanding of Naruto himself, unlike Sakura. It's why I love how optimistic a lot of us are being!

I don't dare hope, even though I definitely want it to be true.

The marketing is so heavily laid--for it to be all for the sake of deception really seems like a jackass move. If NS does become canon, I will never care for how poorly these people are treating their fans.

Guys, ever since I read Junko's interview I am in hype with NS overconfidence. Idk, call mr crazy but given those leaks, maaan, it's gonna be good if it goes the way I think.

Put that with the fact that Sasuke's role will be very minimal, him and Sakura may not even see each other during the movie.

-As shes acted Naruto for 12 yrs, she's often thought of Naruto more than about herself, which is confusing.

-as announced the film is themed on Love , including love for friends, love for mother etc.

-In the first part, Narutos love for Kushina is described.
Camaraderie love between Naruto and Sakura
Shika and Inos are for their late fathers.
Toneri is also a chara with some kind of love in a different form than other charas. (Ms Takeuchi doesn't go into details on this or romances)

-Naruto is no longer the one to be taught but on the teaching end and yet hasn't changed at heart. grown up not really mature.
-Sasuke is attentive to the extent that you'd think he doesn't have to worry about such things. He has his own set of values, which sort of shows his dignity and looks cool.

That IS odd, considering I hear that SS is very popular in Japan. While NH isn't popular there? (....okay, I'm going mostly by what I'm told on that. I have no idea how popular NH is in Japan...conflicting information, and I'm not going to claim to know something when I know next to nothing about Japanese culture and when my view of it is heavily influenced and filtered through anime.)

 

Are they aiming at a world audience, since NH is popular worldwide? Shonen Jump isn't only in Japan, right? They have a world-wide audience, so I guess that's the only way this marketing can make sense.
