They had TVs that were running on water or some sort of liquid and later on they had radios that's all the tech they had. You don't go from TV's that run on water to Oculus Rift, skyscrapers, laptops and the internet in a couple of years.

 

Yeah lol, they're comparing simple TVs with laptops and kitten, tech which took YEARS OF development in RL, whereas in Konoha it just happens in a span of 2 to 5 years.

I can't believe I hoped Naruto to have that level of an ending. How foolish of me...

Put it this way: in any other circumstance, it's ok. But for its end, it seems rather lackluster. It's like with Sasuke's speech. It's ok, but the fact it's the final speech, that's horrible. You get it.

 

Kishi literally went casa bonita with his ending. To say it was rushed would be an insult to oxymoron.

 

Its not just MGS. There is Aladdin who frees the genie, gets the girl and through his kindness and courage changed the sultan. Mulan pretty much does the same thing and makes everyone go through an arc. Luke skywalker does this as well especially with his father and even Yoda who doubted him.

The funny thing is nobody outside of the fandom thinks anything about SS being canon. The databook made it clear that Sakura was moving forward, especially how they word it saying because of Sasuke, her life was near over until that boy. That's a classic story of moving on. Sasuke has nothing on Sakura at anything, so 699 made absolute no sense. Naruto remained loving Sakura, never thought of Hinata anything nor considered that important, and still show in the manga. Sakura has been shown to go for Naruto with the usual things you see in any other series. So yes, it's all asspull. Every single one of them.

I despise that tumblr post chatte posted (I'm not angry at you chatte, just annoyed with the poster) regarding Japanese men. That's the worst stereotype of Japanese men I've ever seen.

So men in Japan who don't get married are either otakus who can't handle woman in real life or they don't want to lower their living standards?

The reason why I don't get married is because I'm aromantic and asexual. I was BORN that way. And a lot of my friends were too. tricksie posted a post on 21% of young people not being interested in marrying. Are these statistics ONLY show about otaku who can't handle the opposite sex in real life? In Thailand, the portion of homosexual men are higher than in other countries. Nobody called them otakus. But in Japan, if you're not heterosexual you'll be called an otaku Sorry, we're sexually defected.

And does that poster have any idea how hard a Japanese work? We work until the last train, sleep a few hours, go to work and we sometimes go to work on weekends too. We were taught to prioritize work over personal life. How does the poster expect the guys to get married when we DON'T even have the time to meet girls!? Unless, it's an arranged marriage it's very hard to find a partner. And nowadays we don't have much arranged marriages.

End of Rant. Sorry, I think I got angry and offended.

Don't apologize, it was pretty insensitive you have a right to defend yourself.

 

The poster needs to understand the concept of Karoshi 過労死 and Inemuri 居眠り before she can make generalizing statements about the Japanese. 

 

Or better yet just keep her mouth shut about ethnic profiling altogether.
