I'm sorry... To be honest, I had never even heard the term until NH/SS started using it. They completely ruined it from the get-go for me.

I will say my two favorite arcs in Fairy Tail have to be Tartarus (obviously) and Edolas.

 

 

   

Tbh people say drop Fairy Tail once you get to the grand magic games arc, My honest opinion just read the summary of the arc in the wiki it'll save you the trouble from reading it in the manga. So if and once you get to chapter 257 skip all the way to Chapter 340 and start reading from there. That is my recommendation when it comes to the timeskip.

That arc was disappointing, though I like the invasion of you know whom, even though it was short. The ending was nice, though a bit confusing for many like was it afterlife or life renewed. I won't say it since it's spoiler obviously. I just know the conclusion ended very similar to 450. I guess that pairing is in trouble then. Lol.

Imao, I'm a NaLu shipper, and barely got into FT.

 

Sometimes parts of Erza's character can seem forced. The whole, "friendship" thing is annoying to me. The Jellal thing is annoying to me as well, because I don't really like Jellal. Other than that, there really isn't much to hate on. She's a pretty good character outside of that.

Oh yeah, heard about that. She's ridiculously strong.

But I guess I like Badass girls the most.

Ironically, one of my brother's favorite characters is Mystogan, that Edolas version of Jellal XD

I agree. I don't mind that much with Jellal, but it is what it is. I would say this though. It would seem like NaLu is going to get a huge one in the next arc. Mark my word.

  
I just find Jellal to be annoying with his self-pity kitten. Honestly, NaLu is the only pairing that remotely interests me in Fairy Tail lol I'll bet something pretty big happens. I'd be willing to say that Natsu, at some point while he's fighting END and Zeref, dies during that fight.

Not in Naruto. None of the women actually loved the men they ended up with, the men were just tools of self-fulfillment. Sakura won her rivalry against Ino (that's all SS is really about), and Hinata used Naruto as a way to make her feel good about herself. Ino got with Sai because he somewhat resembled Sasuke. Everything about the women in Naruto reeks of shallow little girls, so it's really unjust to say that all women in all manga are tools. Naruto just makes it seem that way since it's so popular, and so badly written.

In other mangas like OP, Tokyo Ghoul, Fairy Tail just to name a few, the ladies are deep, fleshed out characters that drive the plot in a significant fashion. Hell, in OP, Luffy wouldn't be able to do anything without Nami. Ichigo is only Ichigo because of Rukia in Bleach.

Naruto is just a piss-poor example of what women aren't to suit the needs of those that want them to be that way (otaku's); weak, submissive, and downright delusional when it comes to what love really is, to the point that they become selfish and depraved when looking at someone they don't actually love, because of their wrong, preconceived notions.

Don't let Naruto, Kishi, and SP distort how women are in manga with authors who actually know how to write them.

I do credit him to make other possible believable, like it or not. I mean for Naruto's generation wise, only ShikaTema came out true. Everything else is bananas. So in FT, you're prepared on who's going to end up with who, like it or not. That's what basic writing is. Your journey leads to the end, not the end trying to shove it in.
