One thing that would keep me going is the humor in Fairytail- and no, I'm not referring to this aweful fanservice.
My brother used to really love Fairy Tail, but he said the stories got repetitive after a while.
But that end in chapter 416 got me interested tbh. I'm a big fan of timeskips, and usually I jump back into a manga when I hear that there is a timeskip. It's a lame reason, but I'm sure a lot of people will jump back in if there really is a timeskip happening in FT now.
EDIT: And what's up with all this Erza hate? She was my favorite female character in the series.

Sometimes parts of Erza's character can seem forced. The whole, "friendship" thing is annoying to me. The Jellal thing is annoying to me as well, because I don't really like Jellal. Other than that, there really isn't much to hate on. She's a pretty good character outside of that.

I agree. I don't mind that much with Jellal, but it is what it is. I would say this though. It would seem like NaLu is going to get a huge one in the next arc. Mark my word.

I've come to hate that word. "Salty"

To me, that translates to: "you are right and I don't like it and I don't have a come back or a logical answer so I'm just gonna insult you and try to make myself and my ship/fav character look good by doing so"

No, no. Canon =/= the lowest of lows.

 

It means insulting everyone who doesn't agree with you, telling the opposing fandom to kill themselves, being immature as fu*k, stealing art to fit their pairing, doing horrible things and blaming the opposing fandom, ignoring all logic and going around spreading hate like a bratty, screaming child who doesn't get their way.

I'm sorry... To be honest, I had never even heard the term until NH/SS started using it. They completely ruined it from the get-go for me.

Right? Although if I get called 'salty', I'd just like to say that salt is meant to bring out the flavor in things and make them taste better. So you know...whatever floats their boat.
