Yeah, it gets much, much darker.

Yes, a lot, lot darker than it is right now. - And more mysterious.

Ugh, now I'm even more excited :argh:
This is my first seinen manga, so I really didn't know what to expect(other than lots of blood...)

One thing that would keep me going is the humor in Fairytail- and no, I'm not referring to this aweful fanservice.

My brother used to really love Fairy Tail, but he said the stories got repetitive after a while.

But that end in chapter 416 got me interested tbh. I'm a big fan of timeskips, and usually I jump back into a manga when I hear that there is a timeskip. It's a lame reason, but I'm sure a lot of people will jump back in if there really is a timeskip happening in FT now.

EDIT: And what's up with all this Erza hate? She was my favorite female character in the series.

I can't blame him. It was getting repetitive. But again, the recent arc was finally something we been waiting for and it didn't disappoint. Well, some, but the good overweight the bad in this case.

Love the anime. One of the best animes I've ever seen, and it's not even based on a manga.

50 episodes of Code Geass better in quality than 300 episodes of Naruto Shippuuden.

I can't really blame him,  it did  get repetitive after a while. 

 

 

 

 

I will say my two favorite arcs in Fairy Tail have to be Tartarus (obviously) and Edolas.

 

 

   

Tbh people say drop Fairy Tail once you get to the grand magic games arc, My honest opinion just read the summary of the arc in the wiki it'll save you the trouble from reading it in the manga. So if and once you get to chapter 257 skip all the way to Chapter 340 and start reading from there. That is my recommendation when it comes to the timeskip.

That arc was disappointing, though I like the invasion of you know whom, even though it was short. The ending was nice, though a bit confusing for many like was it afterlife or life renewed. I won't say it since it's spoiler obviously. I just know the conclusion ended very similar to 450. I guess that pairing is in trouble then. Lol.
