God, did dexter end badly? My friend keeps nagging me to watch it, but after 6 episodes nothing groundbreaking is happening. I could be missing out tho. But it cant be much worse than naruto. Pro ending fans always brag about how the movie is canon, but the movie contradicts pre 699 canon! Our canon is better than their canon, haha!

It's not worse than Naruto but it wasn't satisfying nor did it do anything good to make it a well send off. The series was pretty good up to the fourth season. After that, it goes downhill. Season 6 is where it got noticable and somehow tried to get edgy but it was confusing. Season 7 has a sign of new hope. Sadly, season 8 was just weak and the finale just feel flat. The series could have been more than what it is. For what it's worth, it's good, but it could have been greater.

Lol. The point is that many of the series used to be good or even more than that, but as time goes by, they get worse because of circumstances. For Naruto, it was lost of directions.

The thing I still don't get is why people are okay with Naruto being a shallow guy and a scumbag. Who wants the hero of the story to be like that? I certainly don't. So you'd think even if someone didn't like the NS pairing they should be upset at Kishi and SP for destroying Naruto's likeability and development. But I guess not because to them all that matters is NH and SS are canon.

Unfortunately they ignore that how is Naruto right now, come on I do not know how is in English in the movie where Sakura and Naruto talk about rivalry thing, but in Spanish , Sakura said "  That Hinata is too good for him", at least they have to have argument, but not they just said that is fine. Another I put the argument about Naruto giving up and what he didn't achieve what
Jiraiya didn't , they say that he didn't giving up and bla bla.

I'm not blaming the character. I'm saying that their obsession with her is a big part of what made this ending happened. If she didn't exist things would have turned out very differently.

If that rumour about how Kishi was pressured by his editors and to extreme NH fans is really true, then I don't really know whether I should be angry or whether I should just laugh. It seems surreal that a side character could singlehandedly overtake an entire series and yet it seems like that it exactly what happaned. I'm perplexed that Kishi apparently cares so little about his own series that he would just allow something like that to happen.

Still find it funny how Sakura was highlighted several times to care and support Naruto's dream, yet SP/Kishi tried to make it seem like she never cared about Naruto at all.

 

Still find it funny that Naruto's love was shown to be the most selfless one in the manga, yet SP wanna call it so weak, that it was all about rivalry.( especially when that argument can be used with Sakura's love.)

 

Oh Kishi, you should have known that after 663, NH and SS would never be believable to anyone with basic reading comprehension and now you've lost your credibility, most of your fans, and will go down as one of, if not the most  kittentiest author of all times.

 

I hope it wasn't worth it. Drown in your failure and take that sh*tty excuse of an anime studio with you.

I see it as a series that lost its mojo a long time ago finally put an end to it and it ended pretty bad. Like Dexter, Two and a Half Men, and so on.

Two and a half men just went completely downhill after Charlie Sheen left. Just watching one episode became unbearable.

Forgiveness was a theme Kishimoto failed to use correctly we have horrible examples like Obito being called the coolest guy (LOL he killed your parents Naruto...he killed Neji...) <---favorite. This is so true.

Do you guys think Kishi even realized what kind of damage he has done to the reputation of the series? When was the last time a huge manga had ended and had divided the fanbase this drastically?
