I do not agree with it personally, because the story is done with and it will be awhile before Kishimoto touches on it, but, it is what it is man.  That is my opinion.  We never expected such a chapter to go down as it did, but it happened.  Stranger things have happened, we never know. 

 

Let them have their theories, theories are only theories, not facts. Who cares.

 

As long as they aren't talking about hurting people, I'm okay with people expressing their creativity, ingenuity, and also venting.  It's healthy to vent, it's healthy to get things out. 

 

Better to encourage the fact that people will eventually feel better and get over this than to encourage they are wrong for still trying to enjoy their pairing, y'know?

it was Kishi who screwed up or whatever. We could have read it wrong from time to time, but in the same breath Kishi didn't really write clearly now did he? If NH and SS was always the intent, then he lied on several things just to play with it and that is just bad writing.
 

Exactly. One thing I want to know is-- Why write bonds that aren't supposed to be romantic( NS ) more romantic than the ones supposed to be romantic ( NH & SS )......?!!

 

This makes me think that NH and SS were never intended in the first place. Its really a hollow victory for NH/SS.

It's hope for a manga. It's not like hope for someone's relative dying of terminal cancer.  Even still with the "impossible" of that you are encouraged to be realistically optimistic.

 

We all can agree this ending reads odd, and the characters are OOC.  What's left to assume that things for Kishimoto's original ending, like many times in the story and as he stated in interviews..did not go as he wanted it.  It's not a major assumption to assume this what so ever.

 

Perhaps Kishimoto was giving the final finger to the intended pairings by making NarutoSakura seem relatively canon, hoping he could give the fans what he honestly wanted in a way.  Perhaps not.  I'm fine with the theories, honestly. Let people speculate.  God forbid we be like the negative counter-pairing fanatics and deny people what they tried to deny us in the past. :)

Is it wrong for me to hope. That Kishi admits this wasn't how he wanted the things to end? Or hoping we'll get a rewrite?

I'm inclined to agree. There have been plenty of shows, movies, books, games, manga, etc. that ended and still produced a wealth of theories. If people want to try to use theories as a way to come to terms with that disappointing ending, more power to them.

Why do people want resolution in the movie?

It is only going to make you more angry.

IMO, sakura never changed with that ending. She was ok with everything sasuke did to her. We thought the heart stab was the final nail in the coffin. Even other fans thought the same, but no. All he had to say was sorry. They were never in a relationship and she was still fine with it.

Domestic violence is an issue in the world, but those women were in relationships. Sakura was never with sasuke. Does kishi support this behavior. It's sick!! Sasuke should've been with naruto or someone else.

Kishi had SS and NH so those characters can be relevant to part 3.

I can see all the families working out their issues in part 3. Just makes me sick.

Why do they need a Hokage anymore? There are no ninjas.

He ends up with the weird girl who his mother told him not to end up with.

He can't beat sasuke, that makes me PO!!

So what did naruto get? His job is pointless. The ruler of the land of fire doesn't need him.

I thought the K11 would be connected to naruto some how, but that didn't turn out.

I don't want to hear sakura's excuse for why she didn't choose naruto. Sasuke could kill her and she would still love him.

This is actually a deeper question than what a single sentence can easily convey.

 

It's natural to expression dissatisfaction over something, and wishing for it to be done right.

 

We're taught that things can be fixed.  If we get a problem wrong, we can fix it.  If we state something offensive, we can fix it. Or atleast, attempt to.

 

However, the ending, and it appearing wrong to us, is very objective.  To others this is the best ending ever!  So...on that note, it's a bit wrong to state to any writer "fix this story because I did not like it."  Yes, I know much was wrong with the ending, but it is still wrong.

A rewrite would be nice, an explanation pretty good too.  However I honestly hope he moves away from Naruto.  It be like rewriting Harry Potter or Twilight.  Enough is enough, accept your mistakes and move on. Don't dwell on that math problem you got wrong in a test and let it absorb you.  Releasing movies, books, stories, it's a bit different than redoing it in the privacy of your home. He should learn from his mistakes, not work with Shonen Jump any more, and make bigger better things. Sometimes we just need to kill her babies.  Not literally, but I speak of our projects. If it just doesn't work, and it goes bad, time to make something better.  Some things cannot be salvaged, and even if he released something new in the end of the day the manga was published and that's that!

Some things cannot be misinterpreted and Naruto telling his own dead zombie father that Sakura was his girlfriend is one of them. Girlfriend is girlfriend (and even if some fans have been discussing the fine points of girl-friend, sometimes things are just what they are).

He ruined two characters, not because they didn't end up together, but because he cancelled all their principles and destroyed everything they stood for.

 

Things should be taken cum grano salis but many have been buying and spending their money for years, and I can't fault them if they get angry. As for me I'll just shake my head, be disgusted and appalled at how fast a work can be destroyed, continue reading good fan fictions and browsing for good fan art. And move on. But I ain't stopping shipping them just for 2 chapters ( where everything and everyone is OOC and where apparently Konoha became Gotham City) 

 

Yeah, the ending is too crazy to be believable. Therefore, it makes dealing with it, a little bit easie

 

 

Konoha didn't just become Gotham city. :3 It went from relying on pigeons to transfer scrolls, to MacBooks, and Pseudo-Rockefeller-Centres in a decade. :'3

 

The modern world should take lessons in technology.
