One of the things I lament about the ending of Naruto is the fact that Sakura never got to find out that Naruto was the one who complimented her forehead T_T

Lol idk, hosting a party and getting your teammate fired is pretty bad XD in any case, I think Lovie Smith is a great coach in terms of player discipline, I think he's one of the best coaches to help Winston keep his kitten together.

Lol, you can't use 2 years in future argument for 699, and no, Naruto just did what he did times before, he stepped down for Sasuke (remember Tsunade's apperence and how Sakura jumped on healed Sasuke?), he did it already and that's sad, because I didn't think that is in character for part 1 (ending) or even part 2 of Sakura to do what she did. But what if he did confessed, just what would Naruto hear? There is literally nothing good, and it sends flying f**cks to him as good guy, and same message. So, in your opinion what would she say?

I don't know what you mean by that first statement. What do you mean by 2 years? 

 

You're referring to something that happened way back in part 1, before Sasuke even left the village. The circumstances were completely different. Naruto strongly implied that once he brought Sasuke back, then he would confess to Sakura. He accomplished that, so what's the problem? He should just do it, regardless of whether it would hurt him or not. Who knows, maybe Sakura's feelings had changed. There was that pamphlet that stated that both Naruto and Sakura had romantic feelings for each other after 699.

 

To be honest, I always hated Naruto for holding himself back. 

 

But going by the ending, Sakura would probably say that he's a great friend but that she's in love with Sasuke or maybe just "Thank you, but I'm in love with Sasuke."

 

And that's it really. Sakura is not obligated to return Naruto's feelings.

 

So yes, Naruto should absolutely have confessed. Sakura already confessed to him and according to Kishi, she was being truthful. If he had opened up the conversation, who knows what it could have lead to.

He definitely should have tried confessing to Sakura, but they didn't want to make Hinata look like the rebound girl if they had Sakura reject Naruto. This is why I don't really like NH because it's going to make someone look bad in the end, and that's exactly what happened. Kishi and SP handled it about as poorly as they possibly could.

Which is actually a blessing in disguise, because it shows just how forced NH and SS are. They could totally have made it work, but like you said they just  couldn't bear the thought of Hinata being Naruto's silver medal, so they had to come up with this ridiculously contrived story about how Naruto totally had to fight for Hinata's love because some alien guy wiped her memories of some kitten. 

 

So yeah, thanks SP for being so amazingly incompetent.

i'd still take winston even if he is gonna have another crab leg incident lol. yeah hopefully lovie can set things right with winston once he arrives there.

Either or. The anime doesn't keep to the manga, so honestly, I would read the manga first. The first season of TG is different from the manga, so much so that the writer of TG told SP to buzz off, and took control of the writing for season 2 and created an original story for it. So I would go manga first, then anime.

Eh... I'm not playing blame game, I'm saying that people who will see only manga, will think that way, Sakura just being worst of female by manga. Naruto just either played saint for Sasuke or dropped balls on his own.

And what's with Naruto "deserve" and Sakura is not obligated...

That crushes all logic there is, he was nice, he did all he can and still got "no thank you" as MC, so much for a hardwork eh? That's one good message for people that doing good things for other, lol

As long as he doesn't get wrapped up in another investigation similar to the one he was in this past year. That was painful as a student to witness. Especially with ESPN's (as well as other major media outlets) crusade to only write what fit the narrative, instead of fair reporting.

And a lot of self-dignity and ground to redeem, Kishi...'cuz what you did now cause a LOT OF distrust in your own integrity towards your own creations. If you manage to get the chance of course ('cuz I doubt it)
