Nah, that's how I feel at this whole Gaiden thing. I'm just here to see SS burn and I already know that Sakura's character is ruined along with half the cast. But it would still piss me off if she's somehow pregnant with Sas-gays child. The bastard can't even come home and see his own kid for years, but he can come home and bang his wife??? Or Sakura would prefer to leave home and bang Sas-gay for a couple minutes???
 
This is just f-ed up! I would rather Sakura just have some sort of fainting problem, or even no explanation at all than the above scenario.

Me too but at this point its not even about ships. It's about plain decency. I mean what kind of guy marries a woman, allegedly has a child with her, ditches her for several years, then returns and makes love with her, only to run away without even visiting his daughter???????

Kishi is lying through his teeth. There's misdirection which can be used to keep your readers on their toes, then there's what happened in Naruto. Idc if he goes to his grave insisting NH was always going to be the endgame relationship for Naruto, you don't build up one romance for your lead, use other couples in a way that supports a future relationship, only to make a sudden left that results in a completely one sided romance being made into cannon in a matter of mins. 

 

Every time i come here i think about all the canon material over the years that supported N/S becoming canon

Parallel after parallel and the big notion of Naruto succeeding where those before him failed ( Failures in love w/a team mate who did not return their feelings)

T/J got a strong hint right before Jiraiya dies, Obito goes off into the light holding Rin's hand, even Kushina basically holding the exact same opinion of Minato along with being extremely similar to Sakura (enough that Minato notes the resemblance)  gets tossed in their among countless other moments yet Naruto despite showing no romantic interest in Hinata for life of the manga, gets married to her. 

 

There's red herrings, then theres spending over a decade investing in one romantic relationship and tossing it for only God knows why at the end.

 

..yea i know he did it because he couldnt figure out how to make Sakura popular, while Hinata was basically the fan favorite. 

 

I will go to my grave insisting Naruto should have had a pink haired son with both the best and worst qualities of both his parents, instead of some great value rip off  of himself.

It's just a theory that some of us came up with. Sasuke knocking up Sakura at some point before gaiden could be a retcon as pointed out be tricksie

Are you sure it's us making that up? Cause I've seen many Sasusaku fans on Tumblr and NF saying the same thing.

Not a chance - it's just a promo for the Bolt movie, after all. We'll be told to "watch the movie to understand the ending"... Only for the movie to not explain anything, just like with the Last.  

I can already see the retcon .... Sasuke never really tried to kill Sakura , she was just imagining things and fainting , because of her "condition"

 

God, please don't let that happen!   I'd seriously rage, and I didn't care what Trollimoto did to Sakura in Gaiden 01 (I told myself that's not Sakura anymore), so that's saying something. 

 

I think they're literally trying to swap the personalities Sakura and Hinata.....

As for the second chapter of Gaiden, it wasn't nearly as entertaining (in the "so bad it's good" sense) as the first one. I'm disappointed lol. The spoilers basically said it all, the only thing that was new was the Mitsuki part. And I didn't like it, because it made it seem like Mitsuki really was just Oro's new body, what with him speaking like a bitter adult... The "young girls" comment was especially suspicious. I hope I'm wrong though, I would like him to be just a sassy Toneri's kid.

 

But please, Trollimoto, spare us a Mitsuki-Salad-Bolt love triangle or I'll choke... Sue me, but I actually like all three of these children and would like to remain to be able to do so.

Mitsuki's honestly a lot more arrogant than I thought he was going to be, so he does interest me. ChouChou probably wouldn't put up with his kitten though, lmao. Kishimoto knew what he was doing once he gave that girl glasses and black hair like Sasuke's. It was inevitable that people would start comparing her to Karin, the only female with glasses that Sasuke has ever interacted with numerous times. And I guess Kishi's trying to tie up loose ends, but it's not working at all.

Considering the chapter would have to be at the publisher before chapter one was even published I doubt that is the case. The more likely scenario is they've gathered enough intel on the userbase that they knew that not showing Juugo would get a reaction and get them talking.

 

You are right about the rest, Naruto is essentially a manga that is reactory to the topic of discussion, they adjust the content depending on what will get everyone talking and arguing with each other. I wouldn't be surprised if they use control groups to see what people react to before publishing the manga, and make changes accordingly.

I'm still not sure if Kishimoney did "knew what he was doing" when it comes to Salad's design. I know it's kinda stupid to think he didn't, but... I can't help it, the guy contradicted himself one too many times (the interviews) and now I just can't see him as someone who actually has a plan.

 

As for Mitsuki, yup, he was pretty harsh and that's what got me thinking it's Orochimaru. On the other hand, he could just be an a**hole like Sasuke. And the reason I like him with Chouchou (not necessarily as a ship, they could become neat bros too) is exactly because she wouldn't let him be a little kitten without consquences.

 

...or so I'd like to believe, 'cause you know, Kishi suddenly made her pretty dumb in the new chapter.

Oh of course he's searching the interwebz. There's no doubt at this point. The whole "Karin's daughter" theory, the "Sakura housewife" theory, the "Shadow clone for Bolt" theory, and the "Sasuke not living in village" theory have all become canon (well, Karin's is almost there unless red herring). And lets be honest, these were all theories we whipped out of our a** because we wanted to find everything wrong with this ending- and all of them had possibilites. Kishimoto was just dumb enough to actually go through with it.
