A NaruSaku fan once gave me a clip from the anime where Naruto tells this filler girl that he loves Sakura because he liked the way she looked at Sasuke and "I want someone to look at me that way" Which told me he didn't really love her. "

Yep that seems to be the general consuses from the NH fandom. Sakura is such a great character now that she ships NH, not because of anything else that she did. They just wanted her out of the way so Hinata can claim her "prize". Simple as that.

which makes it official, the naruto fandom is worse than the sonic fandom and may be the worst fandom in the history of fandoms.....

 heck the sonic fandom even agrees on some things like the sonic boom show having problems from what I hear, and people that don't, well at least they let people like what they want instead of this crap. but unlike sonic being a anime/cartoon/comic/game series, this is just a anime/manga series, nothing else, so why the flip can they not agree that the movie is bad and/or leave people in peace and let people do what they want?   for goodness sake!!! no wonder this fandom keeps driving me away  I have never seen such a fandom ruled by pairing crap and perverts until now....

I don't think they wanted just to be canon. They wanted us to acknowledge that their pairing is superior once NH is canon. I'm not sure why that is because honestly if NS became canon I couldn't care less what the NH fandom thought about it. All I wanted what was best for the story and logically I thought NS was the best way to go, but sadly Kishi and SP had other plans.

I haven't read a manga before where it feels like segments of the fanbase read entirely different stories until Naruto.
