@dovahkiin - i think that its better way. and i agree with you we ll just get more bashings. @ phenixelite think the same. but chances of ss is less . i mean after all those feelings of sakura, and parallals kisi has given to us points towards ns. so i dont care about ss now. for me ss is dead. and i dont think than naruto would show any sudden feeling for hinata. that would suck. cause that would be like everything from nothing. he treats hinata like others as a good friend. but feelings for sakura is special. some nh do say that the pein arc was a nh moment. btw i think naruto would have done that if there was someone else close to him. and also we got a ns moment there too.

True but the point of NH happening depends not on NS not becoming canon because also if sakura and sasuke would be together in the end does not mean that naruto suddenly has feelings for hinata.
So NH only depends on Narutos feelings. Same with SS, it only depends on sasukes feelings and a bit on sakuras.(since i wouldnt get together with someone who tried to kill me )
As far as the story progressed its not looking godd for NH and SS.

SS could happen and NaruKarin could happen and Hinata just stays there.

My point was more directed at the fandom, while NS hope that Sakura acknowledge her feelings for Naruto that has being shown in the Manga and Naruto finally tells Sakura how he feels then hopes for positive results.

NH fandom desire is to see NS burn in flames and crushed, NH also hopes that Naruto get his feeling crushed by Sakura, they want Naruto to ignore Sakura after what she did in her confession or Sakura to keep her current mindset for enough time so Naruto could get tired of her and move on to Hinata it's also the reason why the rely so much on Sakura's feeling for Sasuke, her confession and 540.

NS doesn't pay much attention to negative detail unless the pairing is being challenge or bashed by the oppositions.

Sakura's midnset didnt this was changed?
Shealready give hints that she would accept an "Naruto's confession".

Her current mindset is she really cares about naruto and if choosing him would make he happy then she accept she proved this on that land of iron arc.

Well, thats exactly how it is. Thats also the reason why iam not at NF and also ignore all information that comes from there.

I plan on doing that too, I find it hard not to at least defend Sakura...and sometimes I pull myself into debates when I really shouldn't... It's such a simple comment that Kiba made, and honestly, if I didn't know about how crazy the NH fanbase is...I wouldn't even be troubled by it...lol..but that's just it... it's not his comment so much that is worriesome... it's the fanbase... I think this will be alot easier to handle if we tried not to think about what the NH fanbase is assuming.... so I agree with you big time!

you're really good at debates! but... I get what you mean, I have seen you debate...and you do such a good job, but when the other person is so stubborn...there really isn't anything that can be done to change their minds...

My main reasoning is the Shipping Wars have intensified once again. Usually I always dive back in debating after shipping moments of NH, SS, and NS are brought up. I have a reason too now and it's interesting to see what they have to argue even though I'm extremely unconvinced of their theories. Same. I immediately have to fight the urge to not defend Sakura from her haters. I know it's useless but I feel like they don't see the side that NS/Sakura fans see of her. Once again, I feel like I'm FORCED to put my thoughts out on Kiba's comment and why NH still probably won't happen. It's the NaruHina/Hinata fans that drive me to it. Always them ... It's always easier but we never do it. I can't think of one NaruSaku fan that has not had an annoyed eye twitch or anger at the ignorance of NH and its comments. Honestly, it happens to me all the time.

Thank you. People will believe what they want to believe no matter what and the likehood of getting a NaruHina or SasuSaku fan accept that there is some semblence of truth in NS is very low. Like %5 low. Nothing to do about it. They call our arguments crap and we call their arguments crap. It's the circle of shipping in any series.

Dovahkiin, what you is true. I often wonder what is the point of debating? Not much. It's just something to pass the time for me when I'm in a particularly good and patient mood (Though debating on my bad days really gets ugly as one particular SS fan knows very well ). I've always been intense and fervent in my OTPS since I was little so when I discovered shipping wars, it was just something I embraced naturally. But I can never debate against NH/SS constantly. My patience and open-minded dispostion has it's limits, y'know. The stress and frustration wears on me and my short temper gets unleashed . Hence the relaxing four-month pairing hiatus.

great post ashley i and agree with you . exactly what i was saying there ll be pairing wars till there is the world. it may be serious or for fun. as you said they say our theory is crap. and we say there theory is crap. cause we llke our pairing and we fight to prove them wrong and they do the same . so whats the problem in that

Obito flat out said that Naruto reminded him of himself, and what was one of Obito's biggest regret ? the fact that he couldn't confess to Rin, with that in mind doesn't it mean in some way that Naruto will have the chance that Obito never got ?

exactly. rin has such an influence on obito's character, that I honestly can't see him not comparing her to sakura/bringing up Naruto's feelings in some way or form.

I was just debating with NH fans in the Naruto forum and when I destroyed their argument they resorted to arguments such as "author's perspective", "no need for resolution for the MC", "off panel flashback to explain how NH will happen and that NH may already be a couple" and "retcons" I'm not joking right there so I decided to stop with some people it seems logic doesn't work.
Honestly the confirmed Obito/Naruto parallel was the most important point for me in the chapter and it only reinforced my opinion that naruto will get the chance that Obito was never able to have : he will be able to confess to his love interest something Obito always regretted. The funny thing ,and I don't know if it has any relevance or not but it may be hint anyway, is that when Obito was about to confess in chapter 599 the place where the scene took place was under sakura trees I don't know what to think about it but that's interesting nonetheless.
As for the Kiba comment I didn't even pay attention to it was nothing more than tease from Kiba towards Naruto about his teamate, I always said that all the Hinata focus during this arc was to get Hinata's closure and nothing more so I wasn't at all surprised with the NH tease from this chapter I think we are about to see even more tease for NH and ultimately the definitive end of this pairing, for now everything is going as I predicted no arrogance here so I'm absolutely not worried for what's to come we will soon get our time.

Excellent post, i feel the same way you do. I also notice the cherry tree in 599. I'm pretty sure that was hinting at something.

Thx. I thought exactly the same. I also have the feelig that there are going to be a lot more moments for hinata in the next chapters. She will make her move towards naruto, but in the end its just to resolve her character so we can move on with NS.

Anyways, in response to your question, of course! I completely agree with this and much of what the others have been saying the past few posts. I saw the Obito/Naruto parallel to be the main and most important part of this chapter, especially because Obito stated it himself. This certainly foreshadows a lot of this upcoming fight, and it's such a shame that something this deep and pivotal is so quickly and easily overshadowed by a typical remark from Kiba.

Regarding debating with SS/NH, I sometimes try to help them see the truth with kindly evidence, however.. you know how it is. I, too, am very defensive of Sakura and commonly find it harder to refrain from defending her than NS, although both go hand in hand. More than likely it's a waste of time, but sometimes if you're having a good day the reasoning can give you a good laugh.
