I think we weren't ready for this "war". Now we are and this may be the biggest one yet. This is NS vs. NH. This could be the end of one pairing. No, really, think about it. We are at the near end, so it's only fitting for Kishi to eliminate one before heading to Sasuke, who is most likely the last part of the manga, which has a love triangle unresolved. Time is ticking. I'm glad that you didn't went away to say, "We are DOOMED!" or something like that. At least you keeping it open-minded. Don't worry, the overpraise will come to the end here. Question is who?

None of us are ever ready for the "war". We think we are but it's truely way too blown out of proportion for us to actually prepare, especially in the Naruto fandom. A lot of us out there treat NH/SS/NS pairing debates as if we were arguing about religion (Really, not an exaggeration). NaruHina I feel is dangerously getting close to the edge of being nailed in it's Hinata-centric coffin. Think about it. All these little "hints" and Hinata focus lately ... Kishi's planning something BIG for the shippings that will cause the internet to crash from a massive sh*tstorm. The NaruHina fans need "faith" and they'll cling on to whatever they get. Which is exactly why they see every Naruto/Hinata interaction or a menton of Hinata's crush proof. They don't have anything else. Sooner or later (I'm betting sooner), NH will finally be gone either by a rejection or a huge NaruSaku moment in the upcoming chapters (more likely).

I don't see the point of flipping out. Be annoyed about it and criticize it? Sure. That's what I'm doing. But losing faith just because of this when Naruto continues to show nothing but platonicism is overreacting. As always, NaruHina isn't without a chance but it's really 30 or 20% at the most. I'm suffering from NaruSaku depravation at the moment XD like all of us but we'll get our big moment soon. The ObiRin/NaruSaku parallel pretty much confirms it by now, contray to the NH/SS side of the fandom

@Neoshadow: That's why I put my debating on hiatus for a while. I found I'm really good at arguing my point but the constant stubbornness of NaruHina really tests my patience . Still, I love seeing how angry and quick to insults they can be when I list the reasons why NaruSaku will probably happen. It's in hindsight hilarious XD because you can almost tell how much they're afraid we're right. Oh yes. When NaruSaku becomes canon, I will sit back in my chair with some soda and laugh my ass off at the rage and cussing fits we'll see from the majority of the SS/NH fanbase. Not say "In your face!" but sit back quietly with a smile on my face. Hard not to get a sense of enjoyment out of it, y'know?

I plan on doing that too, I find it hard not to at least defend Sakura...and sometimes I pull myself into debates when I really shouldn't... It's such a simple comment that Kiba made, and honestly, if I didn't know about how crazy the NH fanbase is...I wouldn't even be troubled by it...lol..but that's just it... it's not his comment so much that is worriesome... it's the fanbase... I think this will be alot easier to handle if we tried not to think about what the NH fanbase is assuming.... so I agree with you big time!

There's a term for it that i cant post here, you have to prove that ur pairing is right for yourself not the others because pairing it's not just a matter of logical, it's a matter of liking, if you like a pairing you ship it and try to prove to yourself that it's the right one not to the others, you will just waste your time.
Ex: I like NS, will i waste my time debating with NH and SS to feel that i'm superior and they are bunch of fools? Because they cant see logic? There's no logic on how to define things you like or not, they arent fools just because they support something they like.

Why should i bother, bash NH back?
I dont even need to bash, every logical naruto fan hate shippers, i do ship narusaku but only on this forum and nothing else.
I prefer to ignore and do my stuff than waste my time with them.
I usually debate about the chapter and other stuff does not get even close to shipping.

Look at NF, the Nh fandom have their own thread if they want to talk about it let them do this on their thread what i dont accept is someome coming on a discussio nabout the current chapter and comes with:

"HSAUHS NH IS canoz, kitten u hAHAHAHHAAHAA, CANON motherf***** DID U SEE KIBA THERE SAUSHASA"
that kind of stuff should be banned they have their topic to do that no need to spam a debate about the chapter with pairing stuff.

Reading posts from the earlier page, I have one thing to say:

NH is one thing. NH, as unlikely and illogical as it may be (and as awful writing as it would be), is still within the realm of possibility.

However, SS on the other hand, is so unlikely, so illogical, that if it did happen it would be such terrible, atrocious, inconsistent writing that the manga's quality would skyrocket downward and explode into the ground.

Don't get me wrong, I'd be aggravated as hell if NH happened. But to even imagine SS happening is infinitely worse.

It was an example someome posted that quote on another forum and got banned this is the type of attitude that i dont like, You say that you cant stand the NH bashing sakura or bashing the fandom.
Responding to them will just lead to more bashing because no matter what you do they wont change.
Chapter discussion is chapter discussion, the NH has their own thread, i dont see a NH coming here to bash NS.
Ignore is always an option.

With NS, numerous times, we have Sakura teasing Naruto, flirting with him, the feeding scene 1 compared with feeding scene 2, the impact Naruto created in her mind, Sakura acknowledging Naruto and saying how much looking on him makes her want to change, the hugging scenes, Sai's revelation, her tender smiles for Naruto and Naruto only, wishing too forfeit a test to protect Naruto's dreams, wondering what are does feeling she has for Naruto, having third party question her feelings for Naruto are some examples of what I mean.
This is what I consider pairing hint with implication of possible change of love interest or change of mind.

Now with all this said SS and NS should be neck on neck but what really hurt SS was the Summit Arc because it crossed a very serious line.

True but the point of NH happening depends not on NS not becoming canon because also if sakura and sasuke would be together in the end does not mean that naruto suddenly has feelings for hinata.
So NH only depends on Narutos feelings. Same with SS, it only depends on sasukes feelings and a bit on sakuras.(since i wouldnt get together with someone who tried to kill me )
As far as the story progressed its not looking godd for NH and SS.
