Oh yeah, and think about the chapter titled The Real End, with Naruto and Sasuke dying, and Sakura and Karin trying to save them. Hinata is no where in the picture. Kishimoto had her trip over a rock. I think that says a lot about his frame of mind: if he had it his way, that would be the real end.

 

And I see the Uniqlo OVA as a natural epilogue to "The Real End" chapter.

 

NS is the ship that's canon. It just ended NH.

 

Exactly, for whatever dumbass reason that Kishimoto-sensei did it NH. Besides, that UT x Naruto OVA was WAY more canon in many aspects, since it didn't have to spit in the face of the characters' development and personalities, and left it WIDE OPEN.

NaruHinata-trads aren't satisfied enough with their canon ship and still bash on sakura saying "I wanted Sakura to fall in love with Naruto but Naruto getting married to hinata and sakura is left to suffer alone...She doesn't deserve anyone" that comment had so many likes..

Well you better hope Naruto's voice actress and possibly some of the other rookie cast members will confess to a preference for this relationship concept then because three - four if you include Hinata's English VA inevitably throwing in with Pierrot's image for the ending - are already openly opposed to it.

Well if you what you say regarding their importance to the Naruto franchise is true then we shouldn't be paying any mind to their antics. They could be indulging requests from a crowd of monkeys and lions, and it would hold no intrinsic value to anyone important in Japan or for the series.

My problem is not about that it was said to be about love. My problem is that Naruto stopped to say he admires Sakura at some time. and then, Kishimoto made him talked about Hinata, he made him say that she saved his life, but Sakura saved his life so many times... Sakura needed approbation and praise. Naruto should have said this to Sakura.

I'm so pissed... everything is completely f**cked up...

Well, I guess, which begs the question why keep jumping around with NS then. It makes it worse that the movie doesn't use anything from this arc at all. None at all. This series is really screwed up.

 

I stand by it that it was Kage Summit Arc and up that was changed drastically for the worst. My greatest evidence is the deleted assistant's tweets. I thanked that idiot to give me the more reason why I thought that arc and up were changed for the worst and how the old editor was perhaps the mastermind, if not co-founder of the series.

The English VA's usually don't know what's happening since they got a heavy schedule, they say that alot in almost all the videos lol The fans of NH and I believe some SS is who you gotta watch out for..

I have to say, it's sad reading the manga "wrong" actually makes more sense than reading it "right".

Exactly. Don't forget the fact Naruto stopped chasing Sakura after Pain Arc. To me, that was a sign on why things feel off from the previous work. Again, 2 databooks before the last one was clear hint that Naruto was meant to overcome and win Sakura's heart as well as DB3 was the beginning of change for Sakura. But then, it all dropped because well again, the old editor left.

It does feel like a damage control of him to say, "I forgot about Sakura," as if to say he lost and editor told him to give up on Sakura, so this is his way of saying. Am I giving Kishi too much credit? Maybe, but it's just a mystery that we may never get an answer.

I would like to believe that more on the actual truth behind his decision will be divulged once his contract with Pierrot expires. The lack of coercive whispering in his ear will hopefully give him a greater incentive to reforge some of his lost dignity by admitting that he made a fair number of mistakes inspired by the interest of profit, popularity, and enticement by publishers and Pierrot. But in the meantime, the spin-off will be used to construct upon the devastation that was once the original manga's integrity with Pierrot's new world order.
