It seems like a made up word people use for pairings they don't like but have alot of development.

Yeah, it never sat well with me, that Kishi didn't show Kushina and Minato meeting. I mean their Naruto's parents for f**cks sake! But, it seems that being the "MC's" parents mean nothing in this story, considering Minato was lied to, Kushina's words were treated like trash, then her scarf was trashed in favor of Hinata's, and to top it all off, their photos weren't in the wedding, nor were their names carried on to Naruto's children.( though in a way, I'm glad for the last two, because MK doesn't need to be dragged down with nh's bullsh**.)

 

Also, don't cry cause I'll cry too.

What is breaking me the most is that fucking Uniqlo OVA.

It's just. I can't take it anymore. The sound of Sakura's cries when Naruto is waking up.
This was supposed to happen in the end. That's the real ending. For god's sake.

 

Oh yeah, and think about the chapter titled The Real End, with Naruto and Sasuke dying, and Sakura and Karin trying to save them. Hinata is no where in the picture. Kishimoto had her trip over a rock. I think that says a lot about his frame of mind: if he had it his way, that would be the real end.

 

And I see the Uniqlo OVA as a natural epilogue to "The Real End" chapter.

 

NS is the ship that's canon. It just ended NH.

Oh, I never thought about that, but that makes sense.
Like Naruto, Kaneki understands Touka very well and does everything he can to help and protect her. Touka can be pretty violent and harsh to Kaneki from time to time, but also be gentle towards him. Quoting Shikaku: "No matter how strong-minded a woman is, she will show kindness to the man she loves." I love the tsudere side Touka shows only towards Kaneki!
As for the personalities- I really don't see it :( Touka and Kaneki are the extreme version of what Sakura and Naruto could be, but not close in behavior to me.

  
I agree with everything you said for their relationship. I think though for the personalities, the problem is the genre barrier. I think that if Naruto and Sakura were placed in a seinen manga, they might resemble each other more.

I'm not trolling, I was serious. Their relationship is incredibly similar to NS in my eyes, and it's very well done. Touka has had, and will have very shortly, an incredible impact on Kaneki, in much the same way that the real Sakura had, and would have had.

It's a very flimsy amount for a movie with the production value this one has. That much Yen would only equal $1 million. You don't think The Last would only require that much of a budget to create, right? 

If that's the case, then no. The production cost would have to be more than that, not even counting advertisement.

 

 

It's funny how we have enough material to have an "official" canon ending, thanks to the OVA and LadyGT's After the War doujin, NS was clearly the only way to go.

Additionally, Lowenthal and Sakura's English voice actress have both feigned a romantic confession at an anime convention already. So chances are they've found the end result of Kishi's manga and the film acceptable.

I don't think it really matters what the voice actors have to say about the subject. All we need to know is that the ending sucked and a few words from them isn't going to change that.

A few words+the NS fandom+ a big company like viz can change it, Also if few people go see the movie in theaters.
