This is very absurd/ridiculous thinking, I might acknowledge NH has a potential pairing but the development between them has not started, I mean in the level of deep friendship, panel time, normal friends time, Hinata seen Naruto has a normal person and not only has the guy she has feelings for, the flow between then is not Natural in any way it seems forced for some part, so either kishi just want to dispose of all of NS development in the trash because he has succumbed to his fans demand and now being forced to change his mind would be the only logical explanation I will have for NH happening just a sudden not to say in the middle of a war.
Sakura and Naruto need to have their resolution otherwise it will just be seeing as if Naruto has move on because he cannot get Sakura to love him so he just went for the girl who loved him has his backup girl, why this argument cannot be apply to NS, is because Sakura was already questioned about her feelings for Naruto and we also could see her behavior around him, The same cannot be said for NH since Naruto has never ever shown any sign of liking Hinata in that way.
So no they are not in the same position.
Also this is not directed at you personally is more about the argument.

Sasuke left Konoha was 'interrupted' with POAL, and it also closed by reiteration of POAL at the hospital.
Hinata confession was closed with Sakura hugging Naruto.
And a lot more. Just keep up supporting NS and enjoy the show. I've made peace with whatever going to happen. There will be other ships fanservice and Kishi will keep milking it to add drama. Let the other fans enjoy their part, for I believe we'll get our part as well-- and when it comes, it will worth the wait
Exactly. I feel I am the only one who read this normally. I didn't get any feels except the return of army. The only thing I can say is that now it is make it or break it moment for Hinata. It really does seem this would be the last time we get to see side characters showing off. Regardless of not knowing what's next, I do feel like the next phase of the manga will be Team 7 heavy, since there's many developments on the horizon, including Tsunade's condition. If I'm not mistaken but feel free to correct me, I believe we have 3-4 chapters left to the volume. That would mean we will get our battle verdict soon enough.
The only thing I can say is that we are now in war. It's perhaps the biggest challenge yet in pairing war history. So far, Obito's connection is the only reinforcement in this one, though feel free with Kiba's comment. Lol funny saying a minor character's importance. But all jokes asides, this forum will be all eyes on this manga now. This could be our glorious victory or defeat.

that mean no sakura crush, whatever promise, other character comment, naruto hurt look.
the MIA naruto feelling come from (in my opinion) kishi decision to prolong this drama. let's face in this kind of situation (before the kage meeting arc)
with no sasuke, hinata on the background, and only the two of them. how can this two didn't become a couple already?
for me it's to give a drama crap. it's like the separation of mary jane and peter parker.
and because of that what can kishi do? separate them for A MOment.

Remember what Sakura's original reason to like Sasuke was, he was the cool talented kid that was adored by all the girls and admired by the rest because of his Uchiha heritage. But now, it's Naruto that's adored by all of the villagers, in which some even want him to become Hokage already.
Sakura mentioned how Naruto encouraged her and is becoming a very important man. I think those might've been the things she had expected from Sasuke before his fall to darkness. So now that it seems impossible for Sasuke to be that, she made herself believe that Naruto was the right guy to place those expectations upon, thus made herself believe she fell for him the same way in which she fell for Sasuke.
Remember what she said near the end of her confession: "I just switched from Sasuke to you". In other orders, she wanted to transfer her feelings for Sasuke to Naruto.
The point is that the way she has come to love Naruto is very different from Sasuke. She never placed any high expectations upon Naruto, meaning that even if he supported her and became an important person it wasn't gonna be the reason as to why she fell for him. If Sakura ever had to say once again why she fell for Naruto I think it would be a good idea for her to say that how she feels for him is very different than how she always felt for Sasuke.
During this new demonstration of her feelings Sakura could make it a point to say how she tried to make herself feel for Naruto what she feels for Sasuke, but that such a thing is impossible to happen since she view both boys in very different ways. First, Sakura says how she can never love Naruto the same way she did with Sasuke (this is for the sake of building suspense), but then she explains to Naruto how she has come to love him in a completely different way and how that's the type of love she never wants to let go of.
I would like for her to comment that despite everything with Naruto being now this great hero that he's is still a reckless, annoying, idiot that can only give her trouble and make her worry to no end. But then mention that those characteristics are part of who Naruto is and that she wouldn't have him any other way. She would explained how in a way she has come to love that idiotic nature of his and that she would feel sad if he stopped being like that since it wouldn't be Naruto anymore. After that, Sakura could mention that it's those crazy characteristic that allow Naruto be the kind person that he is. Someone that always fills Sakura with happiness and makes her smile.
If Sakura uses this angle to express her feelings this time around she will make it clear that Naruto isn't just some simple substitute for her feelings for Sasuke. While her feelings for Sasuke are something she desired, it's her feelings for Naruto that give her true happiness despite not being what she originally envisioned as true love. It also show that Sakura falling for Naruto was not because he changed into someone she desired more, it was because she herself changed by coming to loving him for who he's always been.
Also, Sakura calling Naruto an idiot just to later say that she loves him precisely because he's an idiot goes hand in hand with her tsundere personality.
Don-kun previously posted a deviantart image that goes along with what I explained more or less.
What do you guys think about this? Would this be a nice way for Sakura to resolve her feelings? Give me some feed back.
Wow, I totally agree with your scenario. This is exactly how I envision/hope for it to be.

How come I didn't see this sooner?

And the long-raging war between NaruSaku vs. NaruHina is reignited once again. Maybe I should get out my shipping debates again. Y'know, to refresh the simultaneous frustration/amusement I usually get by seeing the double standards.
Point is, everyone chill out. NaruSaku is still very likely and ObiRin/NaruSaku mentions are sure to come our way very soon. No jumping to conclusions like the NH fanbase.

Indeed.
I think we weren't ready for this "war". Now we are and this may be the biggest one yet. This is NS vs. NH. This could be the end of one pairing. No, really, think about it. We are at the near end, so it's only fitting for Kishi to eliminate one before heading to Sasuke, who is most likely the last part of the manga, which has a love triangle unresolved. Time is ticking. I'm glad that you didn't went away to say, "We are DOOMED!" or something like that. At least you keeping it open-minded. Don't worry, the overpraise will come to the end here. Question is who?

Kiba brings up Naruto trying to act tough in front of Hinata and it has a comedy vibe to it.
Sai & Yamato brings up the way Sakura treats Naruto and it definitely has a serious vibe to it.
Do people see this?

Chapter 451.
People in the manga sure have a different way of seeing things than the anti-NS/NH fandom. I'd pay more attention to how they see things like Konohamaru, Sai, Yamato, Tazuna, Gamakichi, the little girl with the "oh how romantic" pose, and the rest of the blushing and smiling kids in the background of the NS hug.
People in the manga notice their close relationship, doesn't matter what the opposing fandom thinks.

Whoa, wait. I hope I worded that right and/or got my approach correct. If NH becomes canon, especially in this event, won't that make the situation of Team 7 love triangle too obvious of who will become a couple? That's what I meant. That's no fun.

But the team 7 situation is much more important than Hinata's one-sided love for Naruto. Kishi just might decide to get that out of the way during this fight. Like you said, the upcoming chapters will be important in regards to the pairings. I mean, what else is Hinata going to do besides stare at Naruto all day? The moment she arrived was instantly "Naruto-kun". I have a feeling she's going to confront him. Because let's face it, there ain't no way in hell Kishi is saving her romantic problem for last like NaruSakuSasu triangle. Kishi is going to eventually stop playing around with the NH fandom.

Oh.......I kind of figured that's what you meant, but I just throw the idea that we all maybe getting blinded by our own bias, and that Naruhina may have been obvious for awhile.
But you bring up a good point, that if it becomes obvious now, then that will kill the love triangle little bit to early. It's possible that there wasn't meant to be a love triangle, and was always going to go one direction (SS or NS), but then again there are parallels that copy this love triangle (mostly talking about the Obito/Kakashi/Rin parallel). Still, I find Kiba's comment (along with the whole in your eyes conversation and Hinata's proclamation) very worry some.

I honestly don't get where this worrying comes from. If you're worried just go to page 278 on this thread and read Paptala's post. Hopefully, her post should erase your worries.

Sigh, now I want to rush this battle to get this over with. I get the idea, but I really think we are overthinking too much. Again, I will understand IF Naruto actually responded back to Kiba with an embarrassed face. But that didn't happen. And you can't tell me he didn't have time. He managed to make time to add Naruto telling Sakura to help Kakashi first.

Haha I avoid the pairing wars as much as possible since I like to remain stress free and sane. But I may just join them when the manga ends and we have a definitive pairing because oh my god the rage will be amazing.
I agree with you about NaruSaku and ObiRin and I expect Obito to notice it, I'm personally excited to see how its brought up in the future.

I wouldn't be too worried about Hinata and Kiba's comments, if Naruto and Sakura's relationship had become strained after the summit than yes it would be fine to worry but it hasn't been the case and it's been reaffirmed just how much he cares for her (through her having the most prominent position when he thinks of the important people to him after meeting his mother, or when he senses where everyone is when he sends his clones out into the battlefield, Sakura appears there as well as Kakashi and Team 10) at the end of the day I think NaruSaku fans have such a negative reaction to Hinata's feelings for Naruto because that is honestly all her character is and since shes popular and pops up a lot we are constantly reminded of them.
I did have to laugh that Hinata straight away said Naruto-kun when she appeared, at this point you could replace her with a cardboard cut-out with a speaker to say "Naruto-kun" every 5 seconds and I honestly don't think anyone would notice the difference.
