Funny, because JiraTsu was the first one to get paralleled to NaruSaku. That said....

FMA is a great example of romance done right. You know what I regret the most about FMA? That I can't erase it from my memory and experience it all over again.

I know one mangaka drew a tribute to NS back when it was everywhere in the manga, but for another mangaka to draw NS/JT so close to the end, it's like Kishi just spit all over the poor guy, along with nearly his entire fandom. Whoever drew he picture, is probably on the anti-kishimoto side.

 

Anyway, I can only hope that he states that he f**cked up, after the stupid mini series and movie are done this year.( If the movie bombs, I could see him saying nh was not the original direction he intended to go, but not before that.)

seems like every mangaka can see narusaku except for the dumb kitten who created it.

Well FMA was adapted into an anime twice, even by the same studio. It's probably not gonna happen, but you never know.

 

As for romance, the romance in FMA was always pretty clear to me. I guess there was Rose, but other than that, i don't see how it could have been resolved any differently.

I don't want another Naruto anime adaptation. The manga left a lot of holes and the characters still went OoC. You can't change that unless the mangaka actually got part of it. It will still have plot holes, it will still have inconsistency, it will still have out of characters, and lastly, it will still have that ending.

I think the main reason why FMA got a remake was because the original anime stopped following the manga halfway through. Like you said, for a series like FMA, that's just not good enough. With Naruto it's a little different. SP's adaption does actually follow the manga but it also adds alot of fillers and other unncesssary stuff. 

 

As for the bolded, that's exactly what I mean. Kishi should get in contact with another studio and basically oversee the project himself, this time sticking to his original vision. 

 

Now the reason why this is probably not going to happen is because: 

 

1. It would require Kishi to admit that this ending was not what he originally intended (If this even true).

 

2. Too much legal stuff in terms of who owns the rights to the Naruto brand. 

 

3. There is no gurantee that he won't just kitten up some other aspect of the story. Remember, this is Kishi we're talking about. 

 

I don't know why I didn't include this in my previous post. I must be getting senile.

I get what you're saying, but for me Kishi's approval is more important. If he comes out and publicly rejects the ending and announces a new project to rectify it, then I'm going to acknowledge that new project as canon. 

 

But yeah, the damage is already done. Kishi had one shot at making a good ending and he blew it. He can try to fix it, but it won't be the same.
