Yes, absolutely. Not to mention other issues that only present themselves during pregnancy, like heart problems, breathing issues, even diabetes. 

 

Fainting is pretty rare, though more women can "feel faint" instead Think dizziness or head rush. Lots of pregnant women have that. But full-on fainting is often used as an indicator of pregnancy. There's even a blurb about it on tvtropes.

 

But unless Sakrua's come down with Itachi's mystery illness, I would say there has to be a reason for her to be fainting...and more importantly for the other characters to be making note of it. Shizune addresses it calmly, and Sarada certainly isn't at all freaked out. 

 

Honestly, I'll be disappointed if it all comes to nothing. They sideline Sakura with a mysterious fainting spell that suddenly remedies itself in 8 chapters. Long enough for her to be a plot device then conveniently excuses herself from the story. Even if it's not a pregnancy, I hope it turns out to be something!! Not just a way to get her out of the picture!!

I wouldn't be surprised if it was nothing. Think back to 693 (cringe) might as well have told her to get back in the kitchen. I still can't believe that they didn't have Sakura play any sort of part in a fight between Sasuke and Naruto.

I have to wonder. If Sakura meet up with Sasuke in secret, why couldn't he bother to contact Sarada? like a phone call or letter?

It's perfectly logical. The manga ended NH after absolute boatloads of proof that it was going NS. Sakura and Sasuke's stories are completely unknown. The only thing we know is that Sasuke is out of the village. Not that Sakura didn't go out and secretly meet him, delivering mission scrolls or supplies, etc. So if that's what's going down — a pregnancy, I mean — then it's not hard to make up a reason for a secret rendezvous.

 

Ultimately, if it was that easy to tip the manga to NH even though the burden of evidence was that Naruto loved Sakura, then how hard would it be to retcon a pregnancy? Not hard at all.

 

And retconning a crappy idea is logical (unfortunately) in Naruto...because it's already happened.

Because Sakura isn't worth enough coming home to, and Sakura is so thirsty that she has to leave the village just and annoy a person that's trying to avoid her to get her fix

The problem is that the fainting thing has already been addressed. It can't be pregnancy because Shizune already labeled it as chronic, apparently she's been fainting since childhood. So unless she already a dozen kids, this is an illness, not a result of pregnancy. That on top of the fact that she hasn't seen Sasuke in 13 years.

Now that I think about it kishi probably can't show the interaction between naruto and sakura now that he can't put any romantic context in it. I mean how would you portray their interaction without overshadowing whatever it is naruto and hinata have. He has a super strong bond with sakura while his bond with hinata is flimsy at best.

 

His TL interview confirmed that Sakura saw Naruto as a romantic interest past chapter 699. And that Sakura had to remained loyal to her first love or something like that. If Naruto spend time to visit her in person, its going to make NH look terrible. You cant have that.

 

According to the Sakura novel, Sakura fell in love with a Sasuke clone. So let's just say Naruto disguised himself as Sasuke and it was really Naruto's goo Sakura pumped out. I hope she makes some ice cream out of it.

It's so obvious that they don't have an ounce of creatively left in them. I mean they can't think of anything unique for Hinata's character so they just rehash old plot points, and it still doesn't fit at all that Hinata was bullied as a kid. Maybe I'd buy if it was in the manga early on in part 1 but bringing that so late into the story, and just for for a movie, shows that it was a last minute decision and a retcon.

 

Sigh, it still makes me mad that practically everything in this series had to be destroyed for the sake of pairings.

This. Though in the end it probably will be their kid, I just know that it'll have BS reasoning behind it.

 

I've seen some people say that there's no record of her birth because Sasuke wanted to "protect her" or some crap like that but enrolling her in a ninja academy and having her strut around the uchiha symbol on her clothing (which will probably be why she might get attacked/kidnapped in upcoming chapters) is the exact opposite of protecting her lmao. 

 

Either way this ends there's no way out for Sakura (R.I.P) while Sasuke can only be excused if he has no idea the child exists. Hilarious. 

It's almost as if Sakura's stuck in the genjutsu Sasuke put her under when he stabbed her. Too bad it's the reality.

 

All this nonsense happened because he catered to the louder fanbase and is now trying to milk this series for everything its worth. I wonder how Ki$hi still has any respect among the fanbase.

Even if Sarada turns out to be Karin's daughter, watch there be some BS reason for why she was left with Sakura and not Karin, and then we're gonna get the whole "It doesn't matter! I raised you since you were a baby, so as far as anyone is concerned I am your mother and you're MY daughter!" and end it all disgustingly sweet.

It's also pretty obvious that Kishi and SP are trying to "balance" Sakura and Hinata now; making Sakura prettier (at least in other art) because they still seem to be under the impression that the entire fandom is comprised of nothing but mindless otakus who only need a pretty face and/or big breasts to be happy, and possibly trying to give her Hinata's fainting quirk for...reasons...while stealing much of Sakura's childhood background and giving it to Hinata just to make her seem more "fleshed out". Pfft.

Yeah, just because of her eyes...exactly like how Sakura was bullied for her forehead before she was saved by Ino...as mentioned, not original at all and just stealing what was originally Sakura's and handing it to Hinata to make her seem more "fleshed out".

Problem is, even if it were to be done earlier in the manga, it would make no sense why Hinata would be bullied, which is why it's called out as even more BS by the logical fandom.

First of all, she's from the Hyuga Clan. One of the most powerful and respected Clans in all of Konoha. I'm sure even children are taught stuff like that and to make sure you don't antagonize such people.

Second of all, she's the daughter of the Clan Head. A person who, if he wanted, could possibly make the life of any civilian miserable with a word. Even more reason not to try to bully Hinata.

Third of all, where was any sort of bodyguard? Wouldn't there have been one around to drive off anyone who would even start to bully Hinata for any reason?

It's just half assed kitteny in my opinion. They didn't even think things through. SP,SJ and Kishi didn't even care to think of the fallout the manga would cause if they went with the opinion of the fans.
