You have not read this kid's posts as dutifully as I have.  He's adding fuel to the fire.  Things settle, and he starts it back up again.  

 

The manga is over shadow1275, as far as we aware it at least it is over.  There's always room for remakes, and better stories.  Dragon Ball is an example of this, also Digimon is getting that awesome remake.  However, I know when I smell something is up, and he is not being as sincere as we're being lead to believe.  Also, Kishimoto did not intentionally make this ending to hurt you.  We do not know the circumstances honestly.  Let's settle it was a bad ending, and that is that. 

 

Yes, it hurts, I know it hurts.  It hurts like getting punched in the gut, but what I'm stressing is that you, and every one will heal and eventually move on.  

 

That is a reality.

I honestly could care less about this screwed up ending. To me its a betrayal of everything I believe in about love and heroes. But most of all the idea that you truly are the decider of your own destiiny.

 

Kishimoto even said this in the manga and I quote, "when you believe in yourself, it gives you the power to change your destiny." This is something that I truly believe in.

 

This ending doesn't hurt me at all. It's a work of fiction. period. But I won't stand by something that espouses giving up and domestic abuse.

 

And as for the kid, all he's saying is not to give up. Part of me doesn't buy this ending either, part of me accepts it with a huge grain of salt. But if he wants to preach not giving up than let him. It's not that big of a deal. It's better than telling someone to roll over and die.

Kishi should've taken a page out of Bakuman's book where Ashirogi Muto ended their popular manga, early and the way they wanted to despite the potential backlash from the magazine editors and animation studio.

exactly. Talent ended up beating hard work in the end which contradicts the message of part 1. Kishi just showed us that no matter how hard you work or how much time you put in(Naruto) you will fail and you won't achieve your dreams in the end. However, if you have talent and don't do kitten(Sasuke) you will get anything you desire. Yeah kitten all that. I live my life by the message "no matter how impossible something may seem, as long as you work hard and never give up things will eventually go your way." Kishi contradicted himself constantly.

Bakuman is a manga/anime about a mangaka duo. It was made by the same person who made Death Note. I won't spoil the ending but it's definitely worth the read/watch. Gives more insight into the world of mangakas and it has a bit of romance too. 

 

All I'll say is that in the story they were under pressure by some of the editors and studio about their manga. Don't want to spoil it though :) Check it out! It was the third manga I started reading.

Besides why would he give us that last panel saying that the manga is over and all that?

 

I'm not saying that I'm not open to theories, but I need more evidence before I buy anything yet.

And you are perfectly entitled not to stand by something like this.

 

I remember sitting down and watching a movie with my husband, and literally how the female protagonist acted,...with her cheating on her second love she was married to, just to get with her first fling of a relationship..disgusted me.  I could not enjoy the rest of the movie, and I openly voiced that to my husband.  However there are people who LOVE the movie, it embodies the ideal relationship to them.  

 

I can voice my opinion why I believe an ending is bad.  But when some people are trying to incite a riot is simply not cool.  Wanting to beat up someone because you do not like their story is not cool.  Not liking their story is perfectly fine however. Again, you are entitled to this!

 

My issue with the kid is he is not doing what you think he is doing.  You are being blinded by the fact that he's acting like a wolf in sheep's clothing.  His opinion slips, and a few times he has made mocking posts and riled people up, only to suddenly retcon and go back to "pro-narusaku" mode.  Notice how he vanished when I called him out?

 

What I'm saying to you, yes, it blows.  Yes, the writer wrote Naruto a way, and now he writes it a way to contradict things.  This is true, that blows too.  But ultimately, we have to accept what has been written.  It is, what it is.  It's painful to say, but it's true. Again, I'm not saying to you to "SUCK IT UP AND MOVE ON."  I'm saying to you, as a person that is concerned, "It's okay to be upset, but eventually we will manage to overcome this and move on."

Wait, if what Chatte's saying is true, does that mean that what Kishi couldn't accomplished in the manga was everything that happened in RtN? And RtN is suppose to be connected to The Last? Wait, what?
