This feals like the worst fanfic I ever read! And I read some very very bad ones. A part of me can't believe Kishi did this. Because honestly it contradicts everything he himself wrote in the manga!

Turned on my phone today to get a text from someone I haven't spoken to in years. He told me the news via saying I lost a bet I made with him a while ago about who Naruto was going to end up with.

 

I haven't seen the actual spoilers (this thread is huge O_O), but judging by all the reactions I'm going to assume the worst and NH/SS are 100% confirmed+the ending sucks.

 

It definitely feels bad to have silently shipped this pairing for nearly a decade now and having let it play such a large role in my early emotional development (believe it or not, NS helped me transition out of that "afraid of girls" stage when I was in middle school) only for the manga to turn on its head at the last second. Then again, it's become increasingly apparent that Kishi is not the most rational guy lately, so I don't feel that surprised that he's topping off his streak of bad decisions with a really bad decision.

 

TBH though, more than anything I'm glad this series is going to be over with soon. The last panel could be "j/k, Madara actually won and everything was just a dream lol" and I'd be happy as long as there wouldn't be another chapter that I'd both dread and look forward to next week.

Kakashi/Shizune??? What the kitten?? Seriously, kishi, stop. This is getting even more ridiculous than it already was. Any tiny shred of respect I had for kishi and his story is completely  gone. Ugh. I have 0 motivation to read the last chapter. I'm afraid my eyes will bleed after looking at such asspulling kitten.
