i only pointed it out because how significant the poster looked. but really, that's just the tip of the iceberg if they do decide to go back and change what they did, which i doubt they would considering how much money they spent on the merchandise, the movie and the novels. it was a clearly a gamble they took.
They are betting on the power of the beta males. Let's see how strong they are.

They have failed, and are continuing to fail to match their competitors output. That isn't success. You basically saying that suck a little less then they normally do so we should start cheering for them. That's a ridiculous way to look at a business venture. If they can't match their competitors numbers, they are failures.
You wouldn't happen to be a Cleveland Brown fan would you? They usually have the same excuses your making here.
It's not about who waves the biggest stick when you're in the position Pierrot is in. The return profit on their Naruto were always inferior to the likes of Dragonball and One Piece, no matter if it's the present era or during the height of RtN's success in the theatres two years ago. Naruto the anime just doesn't carry the same weight as the most currently popular series (which happens to still be ongoing, one should add) or the legend that helped inspire much of the popular shonen you see today. It never has, and it never will. Even if Naruto was once deemed as being part of the "big 3" in terms of popular manga at some point, that doesn't make it the equal of Bleach or One Piece.
I'm afraid I don't know who that is.

That's how TRUE warriors and arch rivals battle, mate
The dialogue between Goku and Majin Vegeta far outstrips Naruto and Sasuke's big clash at the end.

Question:
Tomorrow I'll unleash a huge LAP along with another one. Who's willing to read it here?

It's a crime that you haven't caught up yet...
Moar Shanks!I mentioned Marco (who I think is really cool, I think it would be epic if he was the last member to join Luffys crew after BB got his ass whipped, I know it won't happen, but don't judge me lol) but really, I'm just interested in seeing what happened to the remnants of Whitebeards crew. Did they retire? Are they trying to stop Blackbeard? Or are they waiting to follow luffy?
yeah i want to learn more about marco and how old he is exactly. i think they stayed a family because that is what WB would have wanted. also, i'm pretty kittening pissed off that a fat piece of crap like BB was able to scar the manliest man named shanks. can't wait to see shanks wreck that ugly bastard.

Same goes for Digimon( I know you didn't mention digimon, michi ;) )If she was a Yugioh card, she'd probably be someone's last resort against Otaku-opponents. I can already imagine it: Hinata-boobs-hime-sama card with twelve stars; secret attack: Swinging Boobs Hypnosis that will captivate every Otaku fan!- It's been a while since I've watched Yugioh, lol.Don't disrespect Pokémon

Yeah.
SP could give two kittens about the reviews. As long as they win money.

The question people have to ask themselves is this. How many people are going to go to the theater and put money down to watch it... and how many people are going to pirate it watching it from their computer?
And how many like us are just going to sit home?
You're right,
That's an increase of ¥380 million over RtN with another ¥140 million projected to be earned before its movie cycle in Japan ends. If enough momentum gets behind the film's subject matter with Hinata at the forefront at international theatres then it has the potential to surpass its predecessor with a whole ¥1 billion increase. You never know - it could potentially reach ¥3 billion if it receives the snowball effect. There's enough gullible complacent people in that 850,000,000 population to make that prospect a reality.
How does $25 million sound for an anime series that churns out limited budget films on a yearly basis?
The Last hasn't even passed RtN in terms of money made
And it's we salty one
Kicking some sense in heads of those people wouldn't be crime.
I just keep asking myself, "these are the people that won? really?"
I got my introduction to message board cultures on a DBZ forum. We used to have so many arguments about power levels in DBZ. Good times.
You know how annoying it is when people think Goku can beat anybody from anywhere ![]()
Sure, a pairing like NH that requires a forced death (Neji) to develop some sh*tty relationship that barely has any interaction displays some clear growth!
Gotta love those key Naruto-Kun moments.

So because SP is like Ed Wood and the old Hollywood B movies I should consider what they did a success? No. What you see as basically "surviving and making cash with what they have", I see a studio that can't attract a market that is obviously out there. I see a creator that has constantly failed to attract a larger audeince.
This is a failure by any honest measure. If you do not reach the wider audience that your are trying to reach, you are not a major success. At best SP can be called a B anime studio, and Kishimoto can be called Japan's modern Ed Wood.
SP and Kishimoto have failed to reach their market potential. There is no getting around that. Saying it's been that way for a long time just means they've been stuck in place, and don't know how to expand.
You and I don't have the same defintion of success. You seem to think so long as they survive a bit more then some people thought they would they are a roaring success. I see them as the B level studio they are, and won't cheer for them anymore then I would cheer for a Sci Fi Channel film that made it's budget back and a decent profit. Obvously if Naruto's story was strong enough to draw in a larger audience it wouldn't be with this studio to begin with.

I believe they would go back, if they didn't get the desired support. They also have to think long term, because i doubt Japanese fans are going to buy anything that has to deal with part 3..Also why the otaku hate?
