I have thrown a controller once or twice, but never broken one. Usually that's because my rational side kicks in and I aim the controller at my bed. laugh.gif

It's alright to be disappointed, as long as you don't take it too far. And it's business, some friends of mine aren't happy about the Joker being PS3 exclusive, and I haven't even played GTA IV yet because I plan on getting the 360 Version for the dlc, but that's just the way things are.

I threw controllers but hadn't actually break them. If I ever break one, more money wasted.

I have never understood the compulsion to actually throw your own controller and more times than not actually break it mellow.gif

I mean I can understand getting frustrated at a game/players, but destroying your own property just never made much sense to me tongue.gif

I do get mad, and somtimes I go a little overboard with the anger cause from playing a game, whether it be a difficult level, or an online match, but Id never throw my own remote in anger. Especially now tha they're like $50 new. Id kick my own ass for doing something stupid like that.

CUE THE FANBOY LINES.

I'll be picking it up Thursday, with no lines D:<, and hopefully playing a bit of the campaign this weekend at home.

I think I will wait too Cloud, I just don't get it why fanboys are so desperate to camp out, I mean that's what pre-orders are for.

I never threw a controller before. I guess that means I'm a calm gamer.

But, does jumping up and down, up and down, and even running around, when you know you were so close to beating your cousin in a Tekken duel after playing for hours, and your little 6-year old brother presses the green button in the PS2 because he was curious considered as calm? I guess not. tongue.gif

I throw pillows and stuffed toys, then I pick them up again a few minutes later, and clean them. wow.png

I've broken a gamecube controller before but that was the last time I ever broke a controller. I've calmed down since then and rarely get mad at any game.

I haven't personally but about a year ago my friend Bret broke one while we were playing Super Smash Bros.

It was a four person free for all, five lives, $20 dollars a game, winner take all. Final game was double or nothing (pot at $300), ending with just me and two other friends left with one life, fighting for a smash ball and my friend gets the smash ball with Samus, and blasts me and Bret off the screen. Bret got so pissed off that he threw his controller across the room and it smashed into the wall. Had to pay for the controller, $70 for the bet, plus the cost of the huge dent in the wall. Of course he was also quite drunk so you can blame it (no Jamie Fox pun) on that. Lesson learned: don't drink and play video games!

I broke the plastic covering on my right on the side of my swivel chair one time when I was playing and got pissed, no joke.

The only reason i ever broke something was a tv controler that I threw to the ground when in rage I couldn't fond my playstation memory card(Never found it to this day) but I've seen lots of game controlers mainly playstation ones that are missing the covers from the analogic button I still whonder how peole take them off are they chewing the buttons or something.
