I loved this movie though not as much as I did the Wonder Woman Animated movie there wasn't much plot or character development the story just takes off from the beginning and never stops. However, seeing Hal Jordan as the Green Lantern again 15 years after the atrocious comic book storyline that derailed his character (Emerald Night) made me bump the rating up. Also the animation, voice acting and acting scenes were awesome.
Also in celebration of the fact the new Ghostbusters game didn't suck I watched the movies again (for like the 100th time XD).
GhostBusters (1984): 10/10
One of the funniest movies I've ever seen, even now after I've seen it so many times I still laugh my ass off.
GhostBusters II (1989): 9/10
In my opinion a VERY underrated sequel.

It's been years since I actually watched this movie, so I decided to go hunting through my crate of old VHS movies and came upon a certain favorite! All I've got to say about this movie is that... He's got a hay-penny today~! He's got a hay-penny hurray~!
And all Wakko needed was two of those hay-pennies to get that special
Call her Dottie and you die! (and an extra bravo for Dot's 'death' performance! XD)

No matter how dark it is, you’re not alone you know?

It was pretty entertaining and a nice watch. It had a general story line and introduced a few characters as well as expanded on the Green Lantern-verse to allow the viewer to understand the concept. Other than that the movie did what it could do with an hour or so with plenty of action and adventure as well as throwing in a few twists and turns. It was great to see Hal Jordan (though I was never a big fan of Green Lantern) and even though he didn't do much in terms of development he definitely delivered in terms of action or so. The ending in my opinion was a little shabby and not anything really exceptional or charismatic, but was pieced together well in terms of quality that the movie held overall.
Rating probably would have been higher if the "DVD RIP" didn't look like I was watching it on a broken television. Whoever was that uploaded it should have encoded the DVD better before putting it up for torrent.

Decent, I liked the action. But overall, it was okay. I thought the comic book did it more justice.

Perfect movie from beginning to end! =3
It's absolutely horrifying/terrifying to think of just how far technology can be turned against us, but damn! This was an excellent movie!

This movie is fun. It's completely ridiculous and exaggerated to the extreme, but that's what makes it. Unbelievable shootouts, hookers, boobs, more gunfights, an awesome soundtrack - how the hell can you go wrong with Motorhead and Motley Crue? - interesting uses for carrots, more gunfights, awesome one liners and balls to the wall action from start to finish. It's not an achievement of cinema; it is, however, completely awesome in an overblown, completely ridiculous way.
Besides that, it proves one thing once and for all around the halfway point. Bush lied to us in their song "Everything Zen". There really is sex in violence!

Revival of those singing chipmunks that came out in the 60s. I felt it wasn't that funny as expected.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button: 10/10
Wow. This almost 3-hour movie I thought will bored me was actually this good.

Whatever Derock. Do whatever you want. Continue to give spoilers to major events in the movies you review, and even the endings in some cases. That's your choice to ruin movies for others. I have no interest in what you choose to do anymore.

Pretty good movie about a chauvinistic man who ends up getting a mail order bride from China. Very sweet and endearing, though crude at times. Really cool Indie film.

Adam Sandler was great in this movie, I laughed and I laughed hard. The only thing that kept this movie scoring any higher is

This movie was funny. I mean, rolling on the floor, crying funny. I love this type of humor and Adam Sandler was phenomenal. You really got a sense of all of his talents in this movie.
But I haft to agree with the above post

It's not the same as the first... but it's still decent amusement for boredom.

The first time around, I was excited to see it but you can see after watching it one too many times, the love for Spider Pig begins to die down a bit. Still, a good movie to bring back a classic longrunning series that I believe... is still running.

I concur! It also shows she has a little more depth than whiny little high-maintenance girl.
District 9 7/10 If you've seen any of the clips or trailers for this film and think you know what you're going into, you're wrong! After seeing this film I am dead upset that Mr. Blomkamp didn't get a shot at the Halo world. But that is Fox we're talking about... so of course they'd let a cash cow, that would be done by a energetic intelligent upcomer, slip through their fingers. Not only did he succeed in creating a film with a deeper message but he also accomplish great effects in the film with a minimal budget of $30 mil. (yes I know I don't have that kind of money but by today's films standards). The pace of this film is pretty fast, I was never bored once. It manages to keep your attention the entire time without resting on absurd premises like the Crank films. Great fun, but it also has more to say. I won't give anything away other than the fact that the film is about aliens living among us in the Johannesburg, South Africa. Sharlto Copley, the main protagonist, does a great job with whatever dialogue he has, I say that because apparently a majority of the film's dialogue is improvised. He gots to drop the 'f' bomb a lot and that's just fun.
