Yeah!

I think that's one of the underlying themes in Kishimoto's manga.

1) Love and friendship, fighting for precious people.
2) Hard work can beat inherited talent.
3) The underdog coming good.
4) People overcoming prejudices to make a name for themselves.

The whole sweat vs Sharingan thing is supposed to highlight the difference between sheer effort and talent.

Mark my words, Naruto is going to be a hell of a ninja in the end. He'll probably even surpass the Fourth because he's working so hard and he cares so much about others.

Who ISN'T mad at him. Heck Naruto should have just killed Sasgay. That's the only thing that disappointed me about this arc.

Same here :/... I wanted to see the scene covered with many tiny pieces of Sasuke. Too bad Naruto isn't that kind of person.

While I may be in the minority saying that I wouldn't want Sasuke killed in the current arc (because 1- I would like to see what Sasuke does next, 2- Naruto promised Sakura and 3- I would prefer Sakura chose Naruto while Sasuke's still alive and not because he's dead), I do strongly feel that Naruto should have been able to wound him.

Well, I picked up a small album of rock songs for writing tomorrow. It came free with a tabloid but I liked the selection so I bought it for the CD and threw the paper away.

The Darkness, Meat Loaf, The Cardigans, Wheatus, Stereophonics, Ram Jam, The Wannadies, The Hives, Reef and Emerson Lake & Palmer.

I'm really looking forward to those guitar riffs... Should be great music for fight scenes and action stuff in SoF.

Naruto did get his forehead protector but I have the feeling that if he had wanted to kill the bastard he could have. Naruto held back big time even as he unlocked new levels of power. There's a difference between fighting to win and fighting to kill.

Yeah, if Naruto wanted to kill, he would have done it in a flash. He lowered the Rasengan's power on purpose in the early stages, and he could have easily taken Sasuke's head off when he pinned him against the rock face in Kyuubi mode.

But of course, he wouldn't since Sasuke is his friend and he would NEVER break any promise - especially one he made to Sakura, the girl he loves.

I also can't wait to see what happens. I just wish that they were quicker in scanning Naruto and bringing the raw out.

Sigh... it's always just the bloody 'school' AU fics. It's alright in the Naruto section cause there's not that many, but I have to wade through the buggers in the Inuyasha section...

I wish the non-school ones could hurry up and update too. ; It's always nice to read any NaruSaku, but when you only see the school ones being updated it can get a little weary.

(I am NOT bashing the writing, I just like to see other places and firm canon universe as well)

There are a few good NaruSakus that have collected dust for far too long... Hey, we could make a list of NS fics in the Fiction Press, we might even exchange stories we haven't read before.

It's Naruto's birthday on the 10th - I really hope they have something special planned!

We're certainly the most visible NxS fanclub aren't we? Now we just need to get our asses in gear and upgrade the forum and website.

But of course I need to finish SoF chapter 8 today, then that manga, then that Naruto birthday drawing... *sighs* Holiday in two weeks though! I can't wait for all that free time.
