I did a bit of research on this topic. They wanted to cut the budgets of the other actors to rise Olivia Wilds' ("Thirteen") Budget (Because she was a rising film star at that time and they hoped more viewers would come after that .... desaster on the last third of season 7). Everybody agreed but Lisa Edelstein (Cuddy). So they wrote her out. Sad thing is, that stuff all happened after the finale, what means the script didn't got changed because of that (At least that's what I heard ... I mean, who knows ...), wich makes me even more angry. My only quantum of solace at the moment is if she would've stayed (as planned) they might've gotten their VERY WELL DESERVED happy End after all (even if the writers are sadistic .... yeah, whatever).

It seems like some sort of curse ... sometimes it is the best just to End a show, if there is nothing left to tell.

 

If that was the case then I'm glad Lisa stood her ground and didn't accept it. Now I don't really think if she stayed that they would've given a happy ending to the show, because I did watch the show a bit, not much and personally I doubt that they would've given House a happy ending since his character was well House. His character didn't strike me as being able to be happy. Again I point out that I only watched the show for a short while, so I can be wrong.

 

Oh and yes I agree with you that sometimes it's better to just end a show. But the problem is popularity and with popularity comes money and that's where the problem occurs. Because networks and studios always want more of it even if it means the show will suffer.

Yeah. House was pretty miserable, that's right. But I got the impression that - esp. during S6 - that there is indeed a way out for him. He started to open up a little more. At the beginning of S7 we had, indeed, a happy House. So I thought, ok, not everything is going well, but he tries (sometimes succeeds and sometimes fails) to climb up that latter. It felt like they were building up a House (hahaha .... ) only for the sake of destroying it later on because in the eyes of the writer, the protagonist is always doomed to hit rock bottom. (And that this, what I think, the real reason, House and Cuddy had to split up... not because "that can't work", House is too miserable, bla bla bla ...)  He can't succeed because "people do never change" yadda yadda, while implying it fairly otherwise before.

 

But you're right. A happy-sappy-end would not have fit this show. But maybe, they could've worked on something more convincing ....

This!? Dong Yi and the King. I ship a ton of things but I think I'll actually add this to my OTP list which consists of like one other couple(NS). Usually I feel hard for ships while I'm watching a show, and after that they're on the shiplist but not OTP. But I will bury this relationship in my heart they're the best thing ever.

Revisiting Kingdom Hearts was a blast and I love the story, and replaying also reminds me of the great chemistry that's layed out for Sora and Kairi:

 

 

 

 

I'm 100% more than any other pairings i'm currently shipping that SoKai is gonna be canon by the end of KH3 (Still waiting on a release date??)

Good I'm glad, I'm not the only one. I somewhat prefer Grey x Ezra but to me Jellal x Ezra is a million times better than SS. He also shows he hated his actions and really steps up to the chance she gives him. It's amazing how different the situation was between Sasuke and Jellal it's a pity that I did not see it sooner. And I also like Grey x Juvia.

I find it only slightly better, but overall still terrible. Their relationship is pretty cancerous, imo. Erza has gone way down hill as a character, in large part because of Jellal. It's just not a very good ship. The only ships in FT i like are NaLu and Gajeevy, because those are actually decent ships...

Don't get me wrong, I despise the ship as to me she really does go down hill a bit. However, it's slightly better than the Sauce x Sakura. I would've preferd Grey x Ezra myself because they act more like a couple.

Although, I do somewhat like Grey x Juvia, as they do have the same traits. Although, I hate how they over do the fact she loves him in the Animi and manga.

Completely agreed!  Though in Jellal's defence he was being mind controlled and unlike "Sauce" he is genuinely trying to atone for it. "Duck butt head" doesn't seem even remotely sorry for all the kitten he did, because he never changed his own  g**d***ed attitude and the first thing we see him do on screen is come inches away from killing his daughter. Whom he DOES NOT recognize. Spot the difference?

 

Gray and Juvia isn't a bad pairing at all, just boring. Juvia is been given the exaggeration bat to be a Gray obsessed fan girl that only thinks and breaths him. If there is any indication that she is kind and selfess towards all of her friends in the guild and out of the guild, it's barely touched on. Which is a shame. In essence Gray and Juvia is the same as Naruhina (albeit infinitely more developed and has on panel justification) 

 

Back on topic. Phineas and Isabella. Phineas and Ferb (thought to do something other than anime/manga and video games lol)

Although in the Animi they do touch on her love of her friends a lot like when she cried when Liassna said they were friends or when she broke free of being mind controlled during the battle with Lucy. So she does show at least she cares about her friends. I still don't see the NH vibe from Grey x Juvia, I see it as more as a Saiino type of vibe.

Gajevy is my OTP. I ship NaLu. I'm meh on Jerza, and Gruvia is my nOTP. I never like Gruvia, but I never minded people talking about it. Now I can't stand it because that fandom reminds me of NH, based on my encounters. Juvia just isn't a likable character in my eyes. I assumed she would be more focused on her friends than Gray; even though her obsession with Gray at points are highlighted in a comedic way, it still makes look a Juvia in a weird way.
