Why does the chapter have to be released on a day I have class?

Not really. Is Tsunade dead?
actual panel
I am distraught that a criminal like Obito has a place here alongside selfless heroes like Hiruzen, Jiraiya, Tsunade and Naruto's parents. Its truly sad...but its what I've come to expect from Kishimoto.
I have to disagree with your last statement. Obito definitely deserves to be there, he has indirectly made Naruto what he is today. Through Obito, he knows what it is to fail, and how it feels to stand back up. Obito is by no means a role model, but the guy failed, and accepted accountability for his failures, and busted his ass to atone for his mistakes. Not to mention, he died protecting Naruto after helping to save his life with Sakura.
At least he held himself accountable for his actions. Does anybody else get annoyed that Sasuke, being Sasuke, is just going to get a free pass?

I'm sorry but that is some spin you have given to make Obito sound decent.
'he has indirectly made Naruto what he is today' -this is not the right way to excuse Obito's terrible crimes. I can understand what you say from the plot point of view. Yes, in a way, it is because of Obito that Naruto became the Jinchuuriki and got all that power. But what about the suffering that it brought to Naruto?
Do you really believe if Naruto had a choice of choosing his fate he would have chosen this? Or do you think he would rather have chosen a life where he could be a normal kid who had the love of parents? Obito's actions from a morality pov have been nothing but inhumane.
So what if Obito 'accepted accountability'? This isn't gonna undo every mistake he made. Minato and Kushina won't get to watch their son grow up, Naruto won't get to experience the love of a mother and father, Neji isn't gonna come back alive, all the pain and suffering this war has bought to people will not disappear, all the countless number of shinobis who have lost their lives won't come back alive.
Obito is a disgrace of a human being, he is a ninja who is worse than scum because he betrayed his comrades. He DOES NOT deserve to be placed alongside real heroes like Jiraiya and Minato.

I don't really see any spin on that. I stated it as it was. He kittened up pretty big, accepted it, and died to try to atone.
What Naruto would have chosen is irrelevant. What happened is done, he can't go back.
Lets not forget that Minato and Jiraiya, as well as every member of the previous generation are not innocent. Minato was said to have solo'd the third war, he killed thousands. Jiraiya might have killed more, he was a direct combatant of two wars. Hiruzen might have killed even more still, plus his questionable policies made Itachi kill his entire clan (not defending the Uchiha, just stating the toll he put on Itachi was awful). How many did Tobirama and Hashirama kill? Try to keep objective before going on to bash Obito, he may have done kittened up things, but the point of the manga is that the world as it is is a kittened up place, and everybody is accountable for it.
Obito belongs with Minato, Jiraiya, Kakashi, Itachi, and Hashirama because he, like all of the ones I mentioned, admitted that he was a failure. He took accountability and, just like the scan you provided said, he showed Naruto what it means to fail and how to take a different path. That was part of Obito's impact on Naruto.
