Not counting episode 1, he only said "uhm" and "oh" and a few single words. I feel so distanced from him.

The pacing is good in my opinion. They are really good at integrating stuff from the manga into the anime.

Heck yeah, Hide is also a Touken shipper. I loved that discussion b/w Touka and Hide! I love how Touka and Hide especially are given more focus in season 2 so far.

Touka blushing when she said that he was just off reading a book I like that we're seeing them more, but I want to see Kaneki too. I hate that a lot of time was spent on Yamori's former underling, that guy was so annoying,

Yeah, I hate how sidelined Kaneki in Root A so far. Hopefully, we get to focus on Aogiri Tree more in the future- that's what I was hoping for when it comes to Root A.

Amon getting turned into a ghoul would be a cool plot twist though.

I personally don't like the theory that Kaneki ate Hide during the Anteiku Raid Arc. I personally hope [Even if it feels bad] that Kanou gave him some seriously powerful stuff as well.

 

Root A's been quite intriguing though. Ishida said that it would be a different route to :re, right? [That's what I heard.] As for episode three, I loved that part where Touka's going off to sleep and she says, "The star of a play, huh?". I mean, it's just my interpretation, but somehow, I feel like that's a metaphor for Kaneki's joining of the Aogiri being an act, which is centered around destroying it from the inside.

 

Anyway, I just wish the scanlators upload the new chapter already.

It's kind of been hinted that Amon would be turned into a half-ghoul, considering the way he was being given special attention from Aogiri and Doctor Kanou.

No no, I think Hide is alive. There is no way that Hide is dead b/c if he is... I prefer not to envision this scenario. Most likely he will be the last person to be reintroduced in :re. Haha, I don't want my Hide to turn against Kaneki- I've had enough from best friends turning evil aka Sasuke.

I really like Root A, but as expected the response is mixed one season 2. Good pacing, good focus on the side characters, but Kaneki is too sidelined for me in this season- so far.

The scanlators are slow, but the wait will be worth it. One hint: crossdressing

Aogiri is alway doing those dumb missions. I guess we need to see more of Kaneki though to understand what his psychology is like right now.

Imao, that is the asspull. We don't know. Most likely some "I'm gonna protect my friends by killing the main antagonist (One-Eyed-Ghoul King)" trope. Unless, he is trying to collect some substantial info b/c of Doctor Kanou.
