There you have it folks, SS is canon now all we need is for Sakura to fall back in love with Sasuke, for him to apologize for trying to kill her and verbally abusing her and for Minato to say "better luck next time son", and for Sasuke to admit that the reason he has been so hard on her is cause he has secret feelings of wuvy duvy luve for her, then everything would be ready to go

'When he stumbles I want to help him' ? That sounded like Obito was paraphrasing something Sakura said to him, does anyone remember if she ever said something like that to him and who she was talking about at that point? If it's an actual quote it could be a big hint.
I'm not all that surprised with this weeks content, said last week (or I hope I did I might have edited it out) that Kishi has a habit of killing off any potential pairing only to revive it for the kitten of it, but honestly doesn't really change things, Kishi-sensie is just back to his tricks with the pairing war, I guess the clear indications he was giving early this year was just a phase.
Sakura was badarse this week though, I'd like to see how Sasuke swallows the bitter pill of his person he call excess baggage being the one who saved him, not that he really ever would need to sincerily apoligise, everyone trip over themselves to forgive him.

MS translation is referencing what Kakashi told Obito how even if a friend of his dies he has other friends who will keep him on the right path.

I'll disappear before anyone kills me.
(It's just that in the war she's really covered up. The sight of even her bare arm has enough impact....)

I know I said I hate Oda and Kubo's fanservice. I know I sound like a hypocrite. And I'm very very sorry but I enjoyed when Sakura took off her vest and sleeve. I can't help it!

Well, we haven't hit the spot where it really expose. It actually makes her look badass. Though, wonder how. Lol.

Why do people call Sakura annoying for calling Sasuke-kun's name when Hinata always says NARUTO KUN?? they'll never complain because she's Hinata. I need an answer for this.

That's what is awesome! In Kubo's case he exposed Orihime so openly it doesn't look attractive at all. She's just exposing herself for the sake of exposing. That's just pathetic.Well, we haven't hit the spot where it really expose. It actually makes her look badass. Though, wonder how. Lol.
In Sakura's case she did it by herself for practical reasons, and there is this additional badass factor. Her inevitable but less showing exposure is much more appealing than Kubo's Orihime.
I hope I don't sound like a pervert from my passionate rambling.

It's cool. Though I have heard a lot of complaint early in the morning about Orihime. I must admit, it was something else. I mean I laugh but it almost remind me of Soul Eater ending that ask the size of boobs. I think. Anyway, regardless, no need to fear for big melons being basketball in the future since well, yeah. Lol. Though I do wonder why Kishi doing this for Sakura. Is there a reason? I mean I wouldn't mind, just asking.

However, I wonder what the significance of losing her clothes may mean for her in the future of this fight. I don't consider it just fanservice. Kishimoto has highlighted her vest and her headband. Is it a sign of the threat of her mortality? Like, every bit of this fight takes bit by bit away from her. Or is it a sign of transcendence, where she's losing the things that define her as a 'shinobi' and making her something more? I don't know, but something about the sight of that burnt vest--the very last panel of the chapter mind you--is a little foreboding to me. I'm not going to lie, seeing what happens with Sakura (not NaruSaku) is what's pulling me through this fight. It's what I look forward to every chapter. I have no shame admitting she's the most interesting, compelling aspect of this arc.
I agree. It feels reminiscent of Akatsuki losing the cloak. I don't know that I'd reach too much into (it's her arms that bare, so I don't know how it can credible be called fan service), but he has a history of using the destruction of symbolic cloathing as a foreshadow device. It's usually not a good reason either.
I don't really enjoy how it seems Black Zetsu is the one calling the shots, and figuring things out. Kaguya feels like she's being manipulated by him. I want to see her taking initiative, or else she doesn't seem as threatening as she is. Maybe that's her downfall? Her weakness? I don't know, but as long as Black Zetsu is talking in her place Kaguya doesn't feel the threat she is, maybe because despite her power it feels like she can't think for herself, and thus will make mistakes. Or that she'll be overpowered by the thing that calls itself her 'son'.
My concern is that this is meant for blame shifting. It'll be the excuse as to why she's "not that bad" despite what the manga has said about her. He'll be the reason she was so awful in the past of something. She looks visibly unhappy on more than one occasion when he's redirecting her. I don't know, but if feels like they will eventually be at odds where she breaks from him does her "something" to achieve or justify (after the fact) her redemption.
Even now it makes her look like a tool. I'm not entirely sure why she lets him take the lead to the degree she has. I remember the name of, I believe Chapter 2, in FF tactics: The manipulator and The Subservient. That is exactly what this feels like. It doesn't look like deference so much as willing/unwilling subjugation.
Kishimoto's history regarding this stuff makes me really nervous. Black Zetsu is looking like designated a**hole #2. A convenient place to shove everyone's malfeasance.

Considering what I've been hearing other people say on the Bleach chapter since this morning I don't think anyone would come across as a pervert to me.
This kind of reminds me of an interview i heard about a long time ago where Kishi said that he made Sakura sleeveless in part 2 to give her a more feminine quality (ofcourse the short skirt already did that but absolutely no complaints here)

You know I have a strange theory. You know chapter 3? I know the bench scene was been brought up so many time bla bla bla, but I don't care.
So here it is. Remember how Naruto was looking at Sakura in a loving way, something that even Sakura herself sees.
Well what if in the next chapter, thou to Sasuke staring into Sakura's eyes. She notices and realizes that all along with was Naruto years ago, and not Sasuke.
I know, I know it sounds ridiculous and way too farfetched.
Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.
These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.

Yeah and you can expose without sexualizing it. It's just rare in girls' cases, but Kishi is actually good at avoiding it. I respect him for that.
Sakura~, in short, what did sawyer say? I don't wanna watch his videos for 7 minutes they suck :c

Your theory isn't bad, but it's not the right time. It's also unrealistic and too random to realize something like that with just a look.
I feel like the conclusion of the bench scene will be..another bench scene.

yeah so all I say james is let them have it let them dream and gush all they want as in the end it will mean nothing, nothing at all. Just wish some of our fans would see that, but have you noticed that she has lost the most clothes while the others have not what does this mean I wonder.

Not sure about the sleeve but I know Kishi removed her jacket so Sasuke could swap places with it by the end.

I know it sounds unrealistic and completely random but let's be honest we've seen a lot of strange and unrealistic things in this story.
