I wonder how Madara will be dealt with. It seems weird to downgrade the fight with Madara. No offense to him but Obito is Demi-god. Plus the moral battle with Madara will be weaker than Obito, which is why I don't want Obito to be dealt with before Madara is out. Somehow I feel like there's a different plan for him from Kishi altogether.

 

I once thought Madara would be around to witness the Naruto vs. Sasuke showdown, and seeing how Naruto makes a different decision from Hashirama's would "open his heart" so to speak.

Doubt it. I see him more like before dying telling Hashirama that history will repeat itself and he's a foolish to stop him because he knows that the Uchiha boy (Sasuke) is in the dark path and the world would never change. Ever noticed that he never got talk to about anything. He's the villain that will just die with all of his desires and sorrow with him, much like FMA final villain. No TnJ, just end of your misery.

 

Plus, Naruto is still weak, especially now, so it will be sad for Sasuke to fight Naruto in his low state. Surely, all of us don't want that.

That would require him to have atleast notice Saskue, but even still, he would still probably say something along the lines of "The Uchiha curse will continue to prosper" or something along the lines.  That's also a probable scenario.  Who knows how Madara will go?  Though it seems like the only way now is internal peace.

He probably can tell already, but again, the time gap will be big because Sasuke isn't strong enough to take on Naruto and take on him when he's in that state is sad. That's not rivalry battle, that's cheating. The battle between them will be in a whole new arc. At this rate, Madara could be the source for Sasuke's new power since he's the only Uchiha that is able to speak and perhaps Madara can sense negative energy and understand where's he coming from.

Why they cant just kill him and end the uchiha lineage.

If you look closely only the uchihas who did mess on this world if they get erased for good, everything changes, that's why i want Sasuek to die, if he dies goodbye uchihas.

No more madaras or obitos.

Even if Sasuke gets alive who can tell if his kids or whatever would not go on the evil path being the next madara or whatever.

I think you're giving Sasuke too much credit. You got to think about the whole situation. Whenever Sasuke tried to best Juubi or Juubito, he keeps getting counter because he's so strong. To make matter worse, Juubito has an ultimate defense, so now Sasuke made it sound like they will go around the circle, but no, Naruto knows a way, something that he can't do. Kishi is obviously building Sasuke's awareness of his power and make him struggle to get a new one. You got to think that Naruto went to two power-up. Not one, two.

When Sasuke feels upset at Naruto's power, then you know it's something wrong. Sasuke never cared before because he always feels the best. Even when he was reported that Pain lost to Naruto, he didn't care. Ever since chapter 616, Sasuke got a bit odd feeling and Orochimaru caught on. To me, I think Orochimaru purposely have Sasuke enter the battlefield to see Naruto's power and will beg for more power. That's how Sasuke fall to Orochimaru in the first place.

I don't know if you're a big fan of him or don't want another arc but if Sasuke is upset then he's upset. You can't really think he's equal to Naruto now. I mean noticed that every escape/counter is always Sasuke questioning how. BM is what really got him upset and to make more worse, he combined both sage and BM. That's overpower if I ever see one. I don't want to be rude but if you're think he's still equal, you're being naive on their rivalry. The tide has turned. Sasuke is the one in need of new power.

There will be no escape if this Genjutsu happens, that's why it won't happen, and that's why Kishi did RTN. Remember, he said he has put things in this movie that he coudn't put in his manga. Mugen Tsukiyomi is one of them.

 

And with this chapter, it's pretty obvious how Sasuke will get his new power up.

Yeah but even using the moon, it's still a genjutsu and every jutsu has a weakness and the weakness of genjutsu are Sharingan and the fact that you need someome to put chakra on you, which makes the Jinchuuriki immune to it like Bee explained and there's Sakura's case.

Trust me, I am no fan of him, and I actually do want another arc.  I just have a feeling Kishimoto shadowed Sasuke's new Susanoo for a reason.  I'm not implicating it's a perfect Susanoo, or that it could stand up to a Jinchuuriki, but it has been forshadowed for a reason.   While, it's true he may be weaker than Naruto now, he will still use this power in someway.  I just have that feeling.  With Sasuke himself, I feel he is getting his just desserts.  He threw away everything for power, and took the cold logical approach to what it means to be strong.  Now, his entire outlook and path is being made to look like a waste, by the person he was sure would never be stronger than him.  Naruto didn't throw anything away, kept his "naïve" beliefs and has come this far, staying true to his nindo.  That's just a slap to the face to Sasuke.
