That I wish I really know yet its just a very few that call us it, if I was to take a guess I think its because we blindly follow the wrong pairing, or who knows what goes on in the haters heads. 

BLIND faith that too in a WRONG pairing? Seriously? Yeah, I guess I or rather we can all the more see who is blind and having faith in the wrong pairing. These haters!

Well its just how the bad ones are they see Sakura as the one who hurt Naruto, I mean as many here have said Hinata has not been there for Naruto. True the NH fans like to say she was but if that is true then where was Hinata when Naruto failed the test in chapter 1, where was she so many other time in the story when he needed someone, hell she didn't show up to the Chunni Exam Arc by then Team 7 had been through a lot already more than Hinata knows. Or will ever know.

Now, what I'm gonna say, I don't know if its just blind hatred for Hinata but as far as I remember, she was never there for Naruto when he needed her. Sakura and Naruto have been through so much and that too together. Hinata can never understand Naruto's ideals or what his goals are. She just follows his ninja way. She sort of idolises him, which she misunderstands as love. True what you said, Team 7 in part 1 and both Naruto and Sakura in part 2 went through a lot and that Hinata will never understand that. Its strange how the one who is ready to sacrifice her well being and everything for Naruto is hated and the one who has technically not done anything till now for Naruto gets showered with sympathy and love from the fans. Irks me.

It'll probably depend on whether Slextrem comes back. Unless maybe Smiter can fix it.

I'm going to try and message them both....cuse expecting them to see my comment in all this is a bit much, so I'll make it as easy as possible.

I really respect the work that went in this build-up, I don't want to see it go to waste.

It's also such a great way to show people who are confused about this ship, how it's really seen when all the pieces are put together. :)

Just a casual question:

Would the current part 2 Sakura behave the same with Sasuke as she did in part 1, had he not left the the village and had remained the same throughout the series?(Literally the same meaning calm, composed, cold and literally everything remaining the same. His attitude not changing a bit)

I don't know, but rejection and realizing that Sasuke has always been cruel to her made her quit on every fantasy with him. It's like "I can't take this bs anymore, the truth must come out." She knows Sasuke just not the guy she would hope for. I guess that's why Sakura gave up and know Naruto can do it. It also goes to show you that nothing can be done with Sakura anymore, since the connection is lacking, so Naruto can do it. Not good when you can't do a dent to Sasuke's mind about you and only you.

Ah no! What I meant was would part 2 Sakura still be hugging and getting all lovey dovey with Sasuke had Sasuke not left the village and remained the same old Sasuke. No change in his character. Btw, all the things you stated like, Sakura knows Sasuke is not the guy and she knows Naruto can do it and her quitting on her fantasy, its all deduction right? I mean, its not officially stated right?

Well, so far, nothing suggested that she is in fantasy land and understand the reality of where she stands. Plus, there has been way more emphasis on her relationship with Naruto throughout so far. Otherwise, why not just deal with both guys in 662. Surely, you could manage it but Kishi didn't. It's telling if you ask me.

It has always been Naruto.

The only reason Sakura truly realized Naruto was always there for her soon was because of the Promise and Sasuke leaving. I've even seen that moment as the one that pretty much solidified Sakura eventually falling in love with Naruto. That NS moment has flashbacked so much from Sakura's POV, you get that sense that that was what kickstarted NS.

 

We can never know for sure how affected Sakura's relationship with Naruto and her character would be if Sasuke never left, but I believe that it would've taken longer for Sakura to notice Naruto or grow up some. Sasuke's always been a hindrance to her character and she was very blind to how Naruto really was when he was still around. I don't think the NS end result would've changed, but it'd definitely taken longer.

 

I say Sakura's character would've been slower to develop too because Sakura's development with Naruto in Part 2 is what made her into this selfless and sensitive person she is now. Part 1 Sakura wasn't even close to that IMO and a large part of that, besides her younger age, was because of her infatuation with Sasuke.

If her love for Sasuke was this hard to kill off when he became a psychopath who left for a few years I can't imagine how much longer it would have taken her to come around if he were to stay in the village and gradually become closer to Team 7

Although the irony is, nearly all NH moments were a replica of several NS moments, in a way.

 

Naruto cheered loudly for Sakura....He later cheered loudly for Hinata.

Sakura held Narutos hand at the chunin exams.........Hinata held Naruto's hand during the war.

Sakura gently slapped Naruto in the face to shake off the rest of Itachi's genjutsu......Hinata does it to Naruto to shake off Obito's words.( The exact same cheek was slapped too.)

Sakura rushed in front of the kyuubi to try and save Naruto.....Hinata rushed in front of Pain to try and save Naruto.

 

It's just so similar.

Yeah. Not to mention, shes the first one who started this. Hinata just repeat it again.
