I loved this chapter. Not just because Kishi kind of stomped on that NH moment, but because something actually happened! I mean c'mon, all we got in 615 was Itachi's speech again and some hand holding. Here, we actually got to see what the big plan to beat the Juubi was. It's about damn time But man, Kishi had about a years worth of trolling in one chapter! All the Sasuke fans were probably drooling after the first few pages, only to go back to Naruto and the Alliance. Then the NH fan got their moment kind of destroyed. He even got Sakura fans though. He gave us that sweet color page reminding us who the real heroine is, only to not include her in the chapter. But Chouji got it the worst. He's gained all his weight back

If you see the final pages of the chapter, you can see Hinata with the group. Let's hope there's no NaruHina moment in the next chapter, I hope maybe kishi might end NaruHina next chapter since Hinata is by Naruto.

I'm sure he will end it soon, if after everything so far has made naruto show NO romantic feelings towards hinata, then I'm kinda convinced nothing will, and the hand holding thing, well if he had never grabbed her hand form his face, it would still be sitting there on his face, he kinda HAD to grab it or it would have been very awkward.

I agree. I'm starting to believe that it's really the end for all side characters. You shouldn't worry about Hinata (sheesh, she's that much of a threat?). I think it's pretty much settled. I think she's still in defense mode since Hyuuga seem to be in that position of the plan. All I can say is when Sakura shows up, it's all going to be interesting and whatever happen together, well, let's wait and see. So far, Kishi hasn't lost his mind. I'm seriously start to believe that Kishi don't give a hoot of NH. It's just me but really, too much opportunities lost.

Maybe. I think Kishi is going to end this battle before shifting back to Sasuke. I'm starting to think Madara will live but this battle, Obito may die. Showing Sasuke probably gearing us for the next arc soon. Not only makes us wonder why he's there but the fact that Naruto's chakra is so powerful, that even those guys from very deep felt it.

I understand. We'll see. To me, it seems to setup Team Gai shining moment since they're there to grief over Neji and Lee seems to be taught a lesson by Naruto, so it does suggest that they're next, if not Kiba and Shino. It all depends on the plan. Don't worry, this battle will be over soon and Sakura hasn't made a move yet. Looks like shining moments has truly begun.

I admit, I think my confidence came back by the color spread. Remember, Kishi drew that (well designed if I may add) and acknowledged them as heroes. If Hinata was there, then that will be bad. Not to mention, last chapter left many opportunities for NH being the shiny moment of manga yet but Kishi pretty much say, "1 down, 10 to go."

Just stay strong for narusaku , for 616 chapters naruto hasn't shown any romantic feelings for hinata, I feel that it is to late for him to start a romance for them, could I be wrong? Of course, but I'm gonna continue to believe in NS, we can get plenty of hinata moments towards naruto but if naruto himself doesn't make a moment towards hinata then it doesn't matter.

I believe I skipped two post on page 23 or 24 there were too long.
I'm glad to see that the fandom is happy again, there are only one or two posters who still seems to have some doubt about NH, in my case I'm still cautious but I do remember that Hinata said that after the war she will stop chasing him, after her wish was already accomplish I can only see one out of these two outcome:

She goes up to Naruto in order to pursue a relationship with him, something kind of doubtful after nothing romantic from either of them was displayed obviously because they're in the middle of a war, her lack of knowledge when it comes to Naruto on a personal level, his personal goals, problems and desire.
Or after their hug, knowing about Sai's revelation to Sakura about how much Naruto loves her and Sakura's resolve to kill Sasuke for Naruto could lead her to understand that they might be something between Naruto and Sakura or she decide for Naruto to be happy with the person he truly love.

But enough of that, I read a poster mentioning something about a new pairing popularity poll in Japan, I would gladly accept any detail about that, Am just curios to know how NaruSaku is doing against NH and SS respectively.

Meh, my guess is that Sasuke's whole shebang will happen after this arc. This is the most important battle of the manga, after all (besides Naruto vs. Sasuke); switching focus would be poor writing and would remove any tension that's built up over the past few chapters.

I know doubt believe that Sakura is gonna really shine in this war, I will go as far to say that she might be the one to tnj Obito to the light because she resembles rin so well. My fear is that kishi still not done trolling this NaruHina stuff before we get to Sakura/NaruSaku moments.

I would prefer to stay away from Sasuke entirely, as I find his story to be utterly dull compared to the war, but I feel like Kishimoto is going to start splitting the panel time between the two.
