I have both Pokemon White and Black to play, but little to no urge to start.
I have the latest Professor Layton game! And little to no urge to start...
I have at least four books to read, plus one to finish off.
I have a 1000 piece puzzle to finish.
I have dozens of movies to watch/rewatch now that we finally have a working VCR again.
And every time I sit down to do one of these things, I feel the urge to do all of them. So I end up finding something entirely different to do, hoping that I'll be struck with the urge to do just one. Which doesn't happen.

On Vocaloids, though--I've never gotten into it either; so far I've only ever heard about three or four songs that I liked, and I only heard them because they were connected to AMVs. This one's my favorite, though:
Really? But sounds a lot like it though, with all those eletronicish voices, you know?
Oh, I feel your pain Kushina, I had been trying to start doing my manga for quite an while now, but I aways end up playing Skyrim instead, and the worst of all is that I still need to rewrite the whole first chapter....

*le gasp* Bad Alex, that manga's actually something important. I'm just putting off pointless fun things in favor of other pointless fun things. Put the controller down, my friend. Skyrim will be there when you're done lol
(just kiddin' around; 's up to you when to work on your manga, naturally~)

No, still is the truth, I should be kicked for my insolence. But Skyrim is important somehow, I'm taking a lot of notes from the game regarding visual design. You see, I love medieval fantasy stories, but I'm not very good creating scenarios, so I try use city designs and clothing style as reference. Of course I will not be doing an manga version of Skyrim, the story will still be totally different.

It sure would. For example, I'm planning to make the main heroine of the manga an blacksmith, an profession that is highly respected in Skyrim. The main character will be the member of an mercenary guild, similar to the companions, with the main difference s that they have an bar at their HQ, lol! But even after I finish drawing the first pages, I have doubts wich hosting site I will be uploading my comic.

I mean, they will have an bar in the guild of my manga, the ones that don't have an bar are the folks in the game. For me, an guild is not complete until there is an bar for the characters share their druken tales, lol!

Lol, what's new about that? Not trying to be mean, but apart from some few selected episodes, I think Pierot did an very poor job animating Naruto in general. This kind of reminds of the Dragon Ball anime, half of the episodes looked incredibly sharp while the other half was just an excuse of animation, lol, I guess this is what an low budge do to animators.

Somehow it's extra flat, and horribly stiff. Doesn't help that it's a boring episode plot-wise, either.

Meh, I personally don't like Pierot in general, I think they are poor writers, it actually mesmerize me the fact that people in japan like to watch fillers. For example, the guys that animate Fairy Tail can make some very funny filler episodes, why pierot can't do the same?

Well...

When you say "prologue with the main character passing through a future event", do you mean a prologue setting up the basic details of the world the story is set in--as in, a narration explaining the history of the story/main character while the character is in the present?
Personally, with a fantasy-esque story--like what you're going for--I prefer at least some set-up for the world. A brief explanation of the time period, the culture, possible conflicts, etc. Nothing too detailed or long-winded, though, or else it become tedious to remember and/or keep track of unless details are repeated often later on. (which, when you think about it, kind of makes the long, detailed prologue pointless lol)
...hope that answers the question XD

Well, that actually sound like an great idea!
But when I talk about this "prologue", it's like, for example in the video game Prototype, the first mission happens right near the ending of the story, giving an chance to the players see the abilities they will be able to use later on, and when the mission ends, then the story really happens from the start. Did it made sense? lol, but in short, I wanted to ask if you think is wise or not to show the viewers what the main protagonist will be capable to do later on.

I guess something like this:
Prologue (shows possible abilities based on one or two events/decisions)---->Beginning (starts the story that leads up to where the prologue takes place)---->Prologue takes place (the decision the main character made is shown)---->The rest of the plot takes place based on the decision/event
....it's kind of confusing, isn't it? ^^;;
