Naruto is like:
The first without his goofiness or vision.
The second without his sass.
The third without his wisdom.
The fourth without the girl.
The fifth without her backstory.
The sixth without the respect.
I mean, even all throughout the final chapter, people refer to him, as Seventh, not as Naruto. People are meant to look up to him for him being Naruto, not him being Hokage.
Naruto may just be the worst hokage yet. Wtf kishi?
I'm not surprised. Haven't you ever heard ' Behind every successful man, there's the support of a woman '. I always believed Naruto would become the greatest Hokage because he would be supported by his perfect match in Sakura. Poor Naruto was denied the companionship with a strong willed woman like Sakura. He instead had to settle for a wuss like Hinata.
At every step in this manga, only one girl has always supported Naruto's dream of becoming the Hokage. She considered his dream before her own and she did everything that she possibly could to make Naruto's dream a reality.
Naruto and Sakura went through everything together-- they grew stronger together, they shared their joys and sorrows with each other, they supported and kept each other going during difficult times, they selflessly put aside their own happiness for each other-- Their bond became the most beautiful thing in this manga.
But what happened in the end? They don't even get to talk...! Naruto is all alone eating ramen in his office while Sakura is all alone dusting her house. They were there for each other throughout the entire journey, only to be forced apart in the end. The strongest bond in the manga ripped to shreds, just for the sake of pairings.
What's sad is that the two bonds NH & SS , for which NS was sacrificed , were not even worthy of something like this. Their development is a joke when compared to NS and don't even get me started on the horrible message they give to the readers. There was no way these two pairings could be made to look as good as NS, so what does Kishimoto do? He ignores and lowers NS instead
An ending which is truly worthy of the word 'disgrace'.
