Quick question. If this is truly the end and this is how the writer chose to end his story.
Do you think he will re-write the ending at some point? Because I can guarantee you if the movie is just as bad as the manga ending, it will be a failure at the box office, the only hope they have is when the movie gets released on DVD and Blu-Ray in the west. Plus no one is going to buy part 3.

If it comes to that, they may have to change the ending in the anime.

I agree if the ending is anything like the manga one, it's not going to be a huge success. From what I've been reading here about Japan, SP and Kishi really dropped the ball on this one.

Probably retcon it in part 3. He needs to have some drama.

Yeah but the damage has already been done. The only way to fix it is to re-write the ending of part 2 and say that part 3 is a completely different story from that has nothing to do with Naruto, expect sharing the same characters.

The curious ones and NH/SS fans might be the only ones to see this film. If it were me, even if I wasn't an NS fan, I wouldn't be happy about the emphasis on Hinata rather than the plot.

Also if kishi realy wanted to aspull NH. Why aren't they already canon since the start of the movie! I realy can't think of any way that Naruto will give up. we are talking about the guy who had his arm obliterated for Sasuke! XD

Exactly. Pigmoto (I saw you used this name on one of your other posts, and I am so proud of you!) turned this into a shoujo and ignored the last 698 chapters. This shows he only cared about the rabid shipping fans without common sense (they probably make up most of the fandom anyway). It feels like a betrayal. He did this to keep the fake fans so he would make money.

I totally agree with the bolded. All of this is a disgrace. Though, I do think in part one they had a distant type family bond, like he saw her as an "annoying sister" that he didn't talk to much (trust me, I've known people who live with their siblings that do care for them, but they just don't get along or aren't interested in each other so they barely talk). He didn't try to kill her back then, and he admitted it himself in 698 that he saw all of team 7 as family back then. He saw her as an annoyance, but he cared for her as a comrade anyway. Same with Naruto, but their bond was a lot stronger. I think that the reason Sasuke saw Kakashi and Sakura as family at all was because of Naruto. The whole romance thing was an asspull though, no doubt about it.

Well its either Sasuke , Sakura or Ramen I'm not even sure if Hinata deserves to be a medal LOL XD .

He completely ruined his story for appealing to the rabid fans for the sake of money that's sh**ting on literature itself he butchered it  , never seen an author betray his work like that its disgusting , disgraceful , imo they should never let him write again and take his pen from his hands for good   .

I'm aware of those occasions which were not many but to me that only proves that he saw her as a comrade and teammate at best , the bolded is exactly what proves to me that  he only view them like that bc of Naruto  later in P2 he erases them completely didn't care at all and only Naruto is left for him it was always him , he didn't care even if they die which means that they didn't matter to him or care about them at all they  were just there bc of Naruto so it seems forced as kitten  . What about Taka  who were most loyal to him , Karin they vanished completely  for what ? So we can  get this 180 turnaround and rectoning kitten            .

I think, if this movie fails. There will be no part 3 anime and Kishi may be force to rewrite his new mini series. If not cancel it.

From Sakura's character we would see her risking her life, fighting till the bitter end for her Nakama, that kind of great/wonderful love

hed rather go for that :

You could be right, however the general audience that a shonen manga like Naruto attracts do not care for romance. Furthermore, the movie seems to be a romance movie first, with some action. I don't think it's to appealing for the main audience that Naruto attracts.

Meh. NS becomes canon in that movie will be only the best part of the movie. Rather if its a NS sloppy victory or not. No more Naruto self-centered obsession "Naruto-kun this" and "Naruto-kun that"
