Guys, guys, guys....put down the Black Clover. 

 

And pick up the Boku No Hero Academia. 

 

 

I've been on that train since Day 1 besides the Boku No Hero thread was created by your truly  .

 

 

I can't wait for Volume 1 to come out in August.  Plus tbh  Boku No Hero is my top all time favorite manga now, and while Black Clover is interesting there is still alot shoes it's got to fill from being the great let alone be better than the greatness that is Boku No Hero Academia. I mean after all who wouldn't love the geniousness of Deku and Ochako and All Might, Todoroki, Mei, etc.

What actually surprised me today was that the kakashi novel isn't selling well(or as well as they want it to)

Well there was this one time where I can see the amount of seats that a screening was going to have and I clicked a random theater and saw that the capacity was only 50 or 60 people. So since it's different chains of cinemas, each has it's own seating capacity.  Meaning that the average varies, could be less than 150 or a little more. 

 

What actually surprised me today was that the kakashi novel isn't selling well(or as well as they want it to)

I can expect that. I mean, what role does Kakashi play after the end of the series? Now that the series has been milked into nothing but pairing fodder where does that leave Kakashi? Only his hardcore fans actually care about his struggles as hokage. H*ll, even him becoming hokage was fanservice in the first place.

Also, I wanted to say: I get really annoyed when people say that Naruto fans are too obsessed with pairings. Don't get me wrong, I agree, but can you really blame us? This entire story became so bland that the only thing stringing us along was the romantic implications. In the end, an action manga became completely revolved around romance.

I went back to quote what ramen said as my source when he was talking about his two possibilities on why they changed the Sakura novel to April. But I guess somebody else read it the wrong way and took it as it currently wasn't selling as much as they expected. I pretty much got confused and thought ramen said that. Sorry for the misinformation, I didn't pay attention to who said it, it's my fault.

Yup I'm quite excited to read this week's chapter.

 

I completely understand with how you feel and I'll be honest its really astounding how the romance subplot became the center attention after a certain point in the manga. A series that wasn't about pairings all of a sudden becomes like that in the end. I mean  i've said it before when you read Part 1 it was never about pairings, neither was The first half of Part 2, but after that it took a whole another direction. Which is one of the few things I love about Bleach because it hasn't forgotten what the center core of the series. Nothing about it has been reduced to romance, The series is in it's final arc yet it's still keep people anticipating for what's to come especially after the latest chapter.  Granted the FullBring Arc was kinda lackluster the quality wasn't as bad as The Five Kage Summit. At least it was still worth reading to some degree.

 

 

Truth of the matter is unlike Kubo or Oda, Kishi just didn't care about Naruto anymore and wanted to put it behind him.

The story was okay. But the animation was quite lazy. Compared to Tangled I thought a lot of the scenes could have been touched upon. If you ever look at the concept art, you'll see that there were a lot more background scenes that were going to be included. 

 

And then the hype came. First and foremost, every song in Frozen was just bad. Let it go doesn't even compare to like, Beauty and the Beast or A Whole New World (Disney has been off with their songs lately). But the Frozen fandom blasted the movie everywhere, so much so that Disney is still selling new merchandise for such a...mediocre movie? Like this never happened with Mulan or Princess and the Frog. And for people to say that Frozen is better than the Lion King? Now that's just going to far. 

 

But these are my views and everyone is free to disagree.

Although, I didn't really pay too much attention to the animation, I agree. I watched Frozen, cause I wanted to see what the big fuss was about and I was left pretty disappointed. When I first saw the advertisement, I didn't even remember seeing Elsa's sister( can't even remember her name atm. Wait...isn't it ....Anna?), so I was surprised to see the movie focus on her so much. I think all the songs sucked, which was surprising cause usually I can find at least one song to like out of the Disney movies.

 

It did do better in terms of pointing out that one can't just fall in love, with a guy they spend 15 minutes with and how the movie didn't pair off both sisters and allowed one to rule independently, but other than that, there were too many things that I kept questioning, to the point where I could not enjoy the movie.

 

Frozen was okay, but I would sooner watch an of the movies people have recently mentioned, than I would this one.

Can some one from Italy or France (forgot which country) confirmed for me that a Naruto expo of some sort happened that both NS and NH mertchendise where on display that only NS merchdedise were sold out

 

I baffled the fact that Naruto is watched by many, wanting Hinata to be the one because tsundere yet other hit series with those being canon is incredibly praised.

Sure that same Tsundere Bi*** has now been manifested in Hinata's character over the course of TL. It's by all means Hinata is a tsundere so she can be compared to Kushina.

 

 

That's what I was thinking. The pool of satisfied Sakura fans has got to be very small. If they like Sakura now it's only because she's with Sasuke. So it's a bit of self-insert Sasuke worship, not actual liking Sakura as a character. Before the travesty of an ending, I don't think it would be unreasonable to expect that Naruto fans would buy the novels regardless of the content. But now, because of what they've done to her character, who would buy it? Her role has been practically erased in the series. NH fans won't buy it. General Naruto fans who are only lukewarm about Sakura won't buy it. Only SS fans will buy it. And since SS is the ship with ZERO development, it makes no sense for them to actually stick around to buy a novel after-the-fact. 

 

It speaks volumes that they've moved up the release date on the novel. It means that they realize they've killed Sakura's popularity. Maybe they were hoping to keep people interested in the novels with the Sakura one hanging at the end like a dangling carrot. But the change in dates can only mean the novels are not selling nearly as well as expected. New strategy, get the most popular characters out first. The numbers must show that the whole thing is sinking fast.

 

And this comes on a day that Naruto was said he fell in love Sakura by SJ and Kishi. If they think that they can do damage control by actual confirmed that Sakura is in love with Naruto but had to give him up to Hinata because of her newly found sister-ship with Hinata and undeserving affection towards Naruto, they are only going to piss off the NH and SS fandoms.

Didn't the movie hinted at the end that Naruto was spending time with his children when he mentioned how scary a mother Hinata is if they stayed out for too long? And not to mention with the fillers are retconing Hinta to be Tsunade's apprentice and stealing Sakura's screens from either parts of Shippuden?
