SS will most likely take a backseat to NH.

Of course it will... just like it was in RTN to NS, yet they still marketed it more than even NS. So why would that stop them now? SS is the most popular het pairing, if anything, its the pairing to market...atleast a bit and not NH.

A lot of lurkers have an account here (I'm starting to think Sawyer7mage has one, too). They don't post anything to avoid being reported. We can't do anything about, but simply let them make fun of us- and simultaneously making idiots out of themselves, too.

 

EDIT: All of this is just too convenient. Now that apparently NaruHina and SasuSaku are cannon, they know that we are extremely hurt and emotional right now so that such drastic and extreme comments from us (just my opinion guys) easily slip from our mouths. We all know though, and they all know, too, that we are all joking because we cannot deal with this disappointment otherwise. Kishi is simply human with a very different mindset from what we've thought he would have before this sh*tty ending came out.

Would serve them right to be honest.

If I were them I would've come up with a foolproof plan. Create 2 endings. To do this Act 1 & 2 would have to be pliable enough to fit with either of my Act 3s.

Next would be the manga. Make it as ambiguous as possible so that no matter what ending I chose, it would still fit. Next, I go with to market the pairing I think will make me the most money. I lead my audience to the conclusion I want them to believe and then I wait for the reactions and monitor merchandise sales. When I advertise I'm careful not to advertise anything definitive to the pairings so that I can change it anytime.

After I've read reactions and monitored sales I release the version of the film I think to be more popular.

I can't say that I agree with everything that's being said by some of us. Like some of the things we're saying about Kishi. But that's how it is, y'know? People are always going to say things I personally wouldn't. And like you said, most of it isn't to be taken seriously, I know we're just venting and dealing with things in our own way...so I don't say anything.

 

I don't think I've seen any of actually potentially problematic stuff come from Chatte or LadyGT, though. Chatte has done nothing but posted theories, and LafyGT has done nothing but criticize the ending and draw things that have happened to be very popular.

So if that tumblr user wants to be honest, they should amend that part of their post.

When the movie comes out, I'm going to edit myself watching the last part and summarily stepping up to a camera, readying my beautiful voice, and letting out a gigantic and final "BOO!" that will hopefully portray my point. Now, some say that this is fickle, and that I should give the movie a chance.

 

And I think that these people should try taking baths with rabid wolverines; if not, they're just being fickle, and they should give the rabid wolverines a chance.

its like they dont even care about maximum profit for their movie...surely they dont expect to make most of the money out of marketing NH only, or do they? They always knew better in the past. Even SS doesnt get a bit of that marketing i hope im not jinxing it which would definitely help them with making more money, so why arent they? unless there arent any SS at all but its suppose to come as a bonus with NH after all. so eh. either theyre hiding something by trying really hard, or just straight up bad at marketing and need new people for that.

Can't say I'm at all interested in a movie all about NH either. I once liked NH a little bit, but the fanbase ruined it for me. And there's no way a movie is going to make NH make more sense than NS does.

Plus, no way I'm going to watch a movie that features the closest thing I have to a NOTP, SS.

I think the worst part about the movie is going to be Naruto and Sakura's relationship. Their interactions are going to be really awkward. He'll probably be dropping the -chan too.
