In case any of you missed it, apparently Kid, Killer, and Hawkins might not be 100% with Kaido yet. A part of Kid was seen behind what looked like a cage in a very small panel. Maybe they need to be forced more.

Oh yeah I dont expect her to be on the top 3's level, but getting a devil fruit would really help her.

Meh, I don't think Nami needs a devil fruit. The only devil fruit that would make sense for her would be one related to weather, but then that would make everything involved with the climatact irrelevant. Nami's best asset for fighting is her mind, she'll be fine in the future.

she'll definitely need a power-up soon, they're going to be taking on the emperors.

I don't think she will get a devil fruit or reveal to have some sort of secret power. I don't think it would suit her. She's more a mage type imo.

Maybe she will get a new tech/weapon/dial that has something to do with her weather technique or she will awaken her own haki that will complement/augment with her weather power or both.

Against enemies with haki and 100x more powerful devil fruits? Nobodies don't make the main core of Yonkou crews. I expect Nami end-game to be almost as strong as Luffy is currently. Either she gets a devil fruit or learns a lot of haki. Both are good possibilities. Since it seems like Dragon owns the best weather-type fruit, it makes Nami will get one just about snow.

 

No problem with her mixing the snow in with her thunder, rain, mist, etc. That will be pretty cool. Then again, she is the one who beats up her crew for diving in the water with devil fruits. It's a 60/40 for me right now, with the 60% chance being for her not getting a devil fruit ability. She does have a better chance compared to Zoro and Sanji, because there is no way on earth those guys get one.

 

Edit: Franky and Usopp won't get a devil fruit either.

I agree, I don't doubt that Nami is smart, it's one of her best qualities. However Robin is also incredibly smart, but she's also freaking powerful, so it's only fitting that Nami get some power too. Her incredible smarts and wit is going to be nothing up against Kaido or any of the Yonkou. One thing I will agree with is that we haven't seen everything that she possibly could do, maybe she does have some magical trick up her sleeve that she didn't use while on Fishman Island, or when she was fighting that weird abstract art lady, I totally forgot her name, but yeah Nami needs an upgrade. A weather manipulating devil fruit would be amazing for her. I also think that she's got to have some form of sensory haki since she can essentially sense the weather, either way I just want her to play a good role in this arc, I don't want damsel in distress Nami.

I think she will get haki and/or some sort of tech.

this is the new world we're talking about here, cari champion  . fodders apart of an emperors crew could easily kill doublefinger and kalifa. that houdini stuff ain't gonna cut it against new world opponents, especially against an emperors crew. i'm just worried about best girl here  .
