That's fine,SaNa moments are acceptable. Doesn't change that LuNa is end game. Or no couples at all

I'm fully prepared for LuNa to be the end game, but I'll take any SaNa moment I can get.

 

 
I'm totally prepared for this, but if anything did happen I wouldn't mind since I absolutely adore Sanji. However he is going to have his own bride to look after, so all Nami saving and bonding will be left up to Luffy.

So then I leave you with this piece that I finish yesterday for my husband since today we're celebrating our 17 year anniversary. He's my captain and I'm his Navigator.

Nami is good with Luffy, great with Sanji, best with me. But honestly... I rather her be significant with fights than end up with anybody at all. If all she amounts to is beating one really strong enemy, navigating, and ending up with a main character; for her being a main character, that's bad. I rather see her kick butt than make out with Luffy or Sanji on the "Sanji rescue" mission.

Haki. Doflamingo theorized that he was using his Haki in order to help control what his muscles are able to do. Makes sense that Haki would be covering the areas Luffy is controlling. In the case of his chest, it probably helps to protect his body from the strain.

Awe thanks, I wish I could have colored it on my computer but I haven't had a comp since July.

I agree wholeheartedly. I do gush over Luna moments, what Luna shipper doesn't, but above that I want Nami to grow stronger. I want her to shine! This was the other reason that I wanted her to go with Luffy. If she's with him she'll get more development. She's way over due for some as she is still far too weak especially when it comes to the rest of the crew. I love the theory that's out there that Monet's devil fruit is actually in one of her Mikans on the Sunny. If this theory is indeed true then she should be biting into a devil fruit much sooner than later. It would be a great way for her to get a much-needed power out. Nami is so valuable to the crew, I mean she's there Navigator afterall. I don't want her to be captured anymore, even though I do like the moments that it can create. What I want for Nami is for her to be able to stand her ground and really kick some ass. Like you said I will take that over luna moments.


 

 
 

This was freaking amazing this person really went out of their way to do a lot of research. I agree on how Oda has handled Luffy and Namis relationship this far. He relies more on emotions than clichés, which is so true, I mean that's why the hug stood out!! It was just so oh my God they hugged. I still get giddy when I see it.

Yeah, somewhere along the way you must of said you liked Leo more than 2 of those other characters on your top 10. If not, I don't know how he ended up there. The only thing about mine I didn't understand was how Dragon was above Shanks. The rest is on point. If it got 1-9 and 11-50 right, that's pretty awesome.

 

By the way, I was just looking up if Oda said anything about Luffy being asexual, and I stumbled upon an interview where someone asked him why Luffy didn't care for Hancock being naked, but the two times Nami was naked, he freaked out. He said that all three times he was interested, but not entranced with Hancock because he didn't have friends his age around him. He said if Usopp wasn't with Luffy the 2 times he saw Nami naked, he would of acted the same way he did when he saw Hancock naked.

Well somebody finally said it and really it's true, shipping scene can be good but when done wrong, it can be really, really bad. Like ruining the series bad.

Well according to him not shipping but a properly developed romance based on  emotions and mutual trust. Shipping is a silly teen romance novel according to him people falling in love for the flimsiest excuses. And to be honest, I agree.

Likewise. Because I can't stand that they just do love each other and it won't be canon until the end by just putting them together. No, I like an adventure that shows me why they should be together. I am sick of standby lover scenario, especially since it feels like they don't need to do anything. No, work it. It makes it much harder when we are told one thing, only to go with the other for selfish reason. If that's the case, don't waste my time.

luffy taking on akainu makes far more sense than ace 2.0 (sabo) taking him on. luffy was front in center the moment that ace died. not only did he kill ace in front of him, but he left a huge scar on luffy that makes it ache whenever akainu's name is brought up. that scar is a reminder of the traumatizing experiencing that akainu inflicted on luffy. this buildup has taken place the moment akainu targeted luffy and ace step in to protect him. all the emotion that luffy has in him from that day outweighs anything sabo might feel. akainu is the only person in the entire series to truly break luffy's cheerful spirit by putting him in a state of shock, just let that sink in for a bit. there are just so many more reasons for luffy to defeat akainu rather than sabo, it just makes sense plot-wise.

So did Crocodile. He made Luffy beg Robin to save him. And that Celestial Dragon who almost killed Sabo also made him lose his cheerful spirit for a couple days/weeks/months.

that was nowhere near the level of emotional stress akainu put luffy in. do you understand that luffy was in complete shock, unable to move a single limb? you factor in everything and luffy taking down akainu makes complete sense.
