It's just a movie it wouldnt have anything to do with that but most of the girls call him Sasuke-kun except for TenTen and Temari. But I could be totally wrong and there could be something between them maybe.

Fair enough but It COULD imply something since not even Sakura saw Him besides if we disregarded ALL non canon material there's nothing to be happy about with NS moments in the movies right? happy.gif

We could be slightly happy because I heard Kishi himself help write Bonds and there's alot of NS moments in there. Not so sure though I may remember it wrong.

I once read this on a Sasuhina website.
Sasuke being in the darkness and needing a sunny place to return to. While Hinata's name means a sunny place or to the sun if I'm correct.
The writer also said something about sleep.gif hinata's name meant second chance

mmm i dunno- the whole reason i checked out sasuhina is because it is crack- i don't feel like it would work out well in canon- just because in order for it to work well- sasuke needs to do a 360 in priorities, and actually be considerate to her feelings, needs and priorities, not just his own, same goes for her. And he is that, in the crack fics, but he isn't in canon right now, Hinata naturally doesn't know anything about him either, i'd personally find it very strange if sasuhina did happen in canon.

But i have nothing against AU fics of them- the point of Au's is that they different.

If he does a 360, he'll face the same direction again. laugh.gif And yeah I really can't see SH happening. I can't imagine him being with anyone else. That's why I thought the best ending for him is to die redeemed. But lets see what Kishi's going to do.

OH wait! I just remembered something! Did anyone find it strange that Hinata and not Sakura saw Sasuke at the end of the "Bonds" movie and she said "Sasuke-kun"? mellow.gif Think that is HINTING at something? wink.gif

I haven't seen that movie in a while, but the only thing I remember was Hinata seeing him, saying "Sasuke-kun!" and Sasuke telling her to be quiet. I really don't think her calling him"Sasuke-kun" means anything. It seems like Hinata refers to all the males in their age group with the "-kun" honorific, so I don't think it's really anything worth turning heads. From what I've seen in the western fandom, I feel like there's a misconception that "-kun" is romantic in nature, and translates to something like "sweetie" or "honey". I don't know much about Japanese honorifics, but I sort of gathered that, as far as girls addressing guys go, it's basically a step in formality in between "-san" and dropping it altogether. But I suppose there are other factors that come into play.

As far as the actual interaction goes, I took that as just the anime team playing around with Hinata's character, since she's never actually interacted with Sasuke before that movie (or after) in the actual canon. Plus, it just felt sort of random, like Hinata was just thrown into an escape pod (or whatever it was) with a bunch of prisoners and Sasuke just happened to be leaving in the same direction.
On a side note, how pointless was Hinata in that movie? I remember thinking the anime team was going to play around with some romantic drama when I saw that Hinata and Sakura were Naruto's teammates, and Hinata basically just got kidnapped and disappeared for the rest of the movie, LOL.

Yeah, I think the same way. I don't really take Sasu/Hina seriously, I was just curious if anyone really liked the pairing outside of it just being convenient for Naru/Saku. On top of that, I guess I'd feel like a hypocrite for not shipping Naru/Hina on the basis of them never interacting, and ignoring the absolute lack of interaction the Sasu/Hina pairing has.

I also think the pairing wouldn't really work out too well in terms of the current canon storyline. Sasuke would really need to change his tune, and Hinata would actually need to know something about him. It could potentially work well, if certain parts of the relationship were tweaked a little though, which is probably why it works out alright in fan-fiction.

hey no worries- i gave naruhina a try- and somehow it always ended up too saccharine for my tastes. >.<. Pairings are like that i think- you can like them contextually- you can defend what you like with reasoning, compatibility and or canon proof. Others can do the same for their pairings. But it won`t change what you like and what they like. I have more than one ship i like that aren`t canon, but that's not gonna stop me from liking it. i don't think we all like narusaku just because we think it will happen- we also like it for it for the things that we'd like to think occures if it did happen XD.
hopefully that made sense biggrin.gif

Are the forums different for anyone else?
Kinda hard for me to keep track of everyones reponses...
Anyway, I was thinking, I kind of understand how Sakura is feeling in a way. Once when I liked this girl, I wanted to go to the next step by telling her how I feel towards her, but another girl who I had a past relationship with kept jumping in my mind and nagging at my heart. Like, ''hello, i'm right here!" It annoyed me, but I finally ended up telling the present girl I had feelings for, the truth. (Although she was five years older than me and it would of had no chance of working out - but that's another story.) Maybe Sakura does love Naruto but has Sasuke nagging at her heart and shes trying to get rid of her old feelings for him. biggrin.gif So it causes sort of a iffy situation for her love life.

Hmmmmmm, that would be a very interesting and truthful observation there. I mean who in the world would still love a person, who shots them down every time, betrayed the village that the person has sworn to protect, and oh yes, tried to kill the person that "supposedly" love them (I know Sakura tried to kill Sasuke first to alleviate Naruto of the pain but that's another topic). Well maybe she did try to vent out those frustrated feelings for Sasuke so that she can actually experience on what love actually is.

And for a good example of this. Here's a video doujin that caramelmiki had posted in your other thread (Actually, it is part three of the doujin that Caramelmiki posted (she posted part one, I posted part three).

No Sasuke was telling Amaru to be quiet. Yeah I know -kun isn't a romantic indication it's just an honorific but I was just pointing out that Hinata saw Sasuke, and not Sakura even though she's actually part of team 7, and that Hinata actually paid him any mind or attention despite never interacting with him is all. Anyways SasuHina I could go for but I'm overall okay with it not happening either because I like the concept but it's only a whim and it's true that and they had no interaction so I'm not getting my hopes up lest I become insane like the more timebombish NH fans

Yeah, I agree. I'm also in the process of watching that doujin, I started it a few nights ago and never got around to finishing it; i'll do that soon. I think I also typed what I said before wrong. It was actually whoever I was interested in, that this one girl kept tugging at my heart, so it was like a lasting, constant pressure I felt when trying to move forward with my life. Everytime I tried, even though my past relationship was clearly;obviously over. (It ended drastically,) it kept tugging at me. I could relate to the Sasuke/Sakura theory there, the way she felt when Sasuke just left her, bla bla bla. Although there comes a point in life where everyone (forced or not) has to move on, so thats what I meant when it came to Sakura loving Naruto. I kind of think her confession was genuine too. biggrin.gif

What would happen if Sasuke was the one to tell Sakura that naruto henged himself into him? Would she feel like she was deceived? Would she be angry?

Why in the world would Sasuke tell Sakura that it was Naruto that henged since Sasuke does not really care about anyone but himself and his family's "legacy"? It has to be Naruto that will tell Sakura that or she finds out herself somewhat in her subconscious, then everything else will unravel nicely, cleanly, and tastefully.

Once Sakura finds out about it, at first, she may not believe it, then she will go through all the past events that Naruto and her experienced and realizes that what she wants out of love, Naruto has.

^^ I'm sure that Sasuke was probably thinking on why he got beat up on by Naruto and wondering of what he was up to at that time. But I think Sasuke has gone too insane to talk about any events that transpired in the past.

Right in the manga. It's been obvious since the start of the manga. (Heck, there was a lot more doubts in the plotline of Inuyasha that Kagome and Inuyasha would finally end up together than a narusaku ending to Naruto.) Frankly, Kishimoto has been amongst the most overt shonen manga writers from the start about the final main pairing in his storytelling, has made it yet more obvious by multiple references to girls with personalities like Sakura's toward the guy they really love being the ideal woman for a guy to be with, and similar romantic storylines overtly with Tsunade and Jiraiya and Kushina and Minato, and subtly with Yoshino and Shikaku as well. I seriously don't get how anyone that reads this manga can't see it. I knew in chapter 3 when Naruto and Sakura had their first interaction that the ending would be narusaku.
