To me it seemed more as a gift from the third to Kushina but now Konohamaru gives it to Naruto since Sarutobi didn't make it to give it to Kushina...Or at least that's what I understood from the translations.

To me it seemed more as a gift from the third to Kushina but now Konohamaru gives it to Naruto since Sarutobi didn't make it to give it to Kushina...Or at least that's what I understood from the translations.

LOL what bond !? It was literary proven that all their moments in the manga meant nothing  and their "bond" was reduced to a freaking magic scarf and retconed none existent  flashback  , Naruto was forced to even look at her  and Hinata didn't even progressed for the past 2 years  their "bond"  was stagnant  What Bond  is he talking about !? LOLOLOL  this guy is an illiterate moron that's for sure :facepalm: .

I find it funny that they make Naruto act like he cares and loves his mother in one scene, but then in the next he ditches the scarf for Hinata's and let's not forget he spits on her dying wishes to him. Does Naruto hate his mother or something?

Now that you mention it....I wonder... did Naruto find it and then decided it was made by his mother....it is surely explained in the book...every director should take SP as example: they were the first to think about releasing a book to explain a movie !

If the scarf was so important how come Kishimoto didn't add it in the beginning of the manga? A gift to Naruto from his dead mom is pretty damn important. You know why it didn't appear? Because it didn't exist. This scarf is a shameless asspull romance plot device the same way Toneri is. They're both cheap pieces of kitten and deserve no credibility.

The only thing I can think of is that Sarutobi took all of Minato and Kushina's things after they died and kept them for safe keeping. However, that still doesn't explain why Sarutobi would keep the scarf for that long if he knew that Kushina knitted it herself, but that also raises the question of how he would know she knitted it and how Konohamaru would know too. The scarf really wasn't that well thought out...
