Not to mention, he hides it to do his own mission of learning about himself. He's not stupid....Not really. I like Haise Sasaki.
EDIT: I don't know. Shounen heroes act differently in my eyes. He's a caring "mom" who does his best to protect his Quinx squad. He's a dork and has humor but not stupid or a wannabe hero.

Because we all read/watched that loser guy whose only option was to stay sane, never mind the circumstances. It's just my opinion. I like this new persona of his as well, it's just I am craving for some action, not the one-sided one that's happening right now and the fight versus nutcracker doesn't impress me that much.

I understand, but as many have said, this is like Jason's torment all over again. Though we have to wait and see if he does come out.Because we all read/watched that loser guy whose only option was to stay sane, never mind the circumstances. It's just my opinion. If it's like HunterxHunter, sure. I'm also fine with Production I.G., Bones, and Sunrise. But not A-1. Their animation is nice and all, but I heard they don't always follow the original material. Ufotable - don't even know what kind of things they adapt...

Jup. But they also did Sword Art Online- perfect example of good animation, but apparently bad adaptation.
I personally think they are better in slice of life stuff like Anohana and Shigatsu (at least I heard it was very good).
