No. Visually Sasuke is great, but what bothers me most about him is his story and character. if you can get past his personality, he is a good looking guy. However, Sasuke always looks bored and constipated.

 

Yeah, it never ceases to amaze me how superficial people can be, and able to get past a totally crap personality so easily.  It would be one thing if Sasuke had ever been fun or kind or helpful, or interesting or approachable or profound.  But nope.  He was and is a cold, self-centered loser in all the ways that matter.

 

And yet... readers criticize Sakura for her crush on Sasuke -- for having no good reason to fancy him except that he was cool and good-looking...?  Oh, the irony.

 

But in the big picture it has to be this way.  If Kishimoto didn't make Sasuke the most handsome and "cool" of the lot, Sasuke would be virtually powerless as a character.  He isn't particularly clever, he's outlived his wunderkind reputation, his motivation and purpose are entirely unstable, and he's shallow.  

 

Looks are pretty much all he has to keep people on the hook.

I understand why many people wouldn't like him cause of his attitude and other stuff, but its not always rainbows and butterflies. I mean the series would be boring without Sasuke, but that's just me.

Not really. The story would make a lot more sense without Sasuke messing everything up and these weird Sasuke bi-polar actions of basing his whole life on a flip of a coin.

In my opinion, I rather have Sauske not exist at all and get rid of all the useless drama that was simply put in for the sake of that drama. You would reduce the pairing wars by a third and maybe actually make Sakura appear stronger to more fans. This is considering that most of the people who hate Sakura are all on her because of how emotionally connected she is with Sasuke and how many times Sasuke just took away from every other character, Naruto included.

It's not always rainbows and butterflies, but it's not always "well written drama of cause and effect." Like I mentioned so many times, to me Sasuke is nothing more than an object rather than a character. he is a product of plot placement and only plays a role when it is convenient for him to do so. His importance, powers, and life are inconsistent to the point that I am not sure if I want to consider Sasuke a real threat. Just one more wall Naruto has to jump over. Hell, Goku's and Vegeta's rivalry was more entertaining than this and at least Vegeta had the desire to beat Goku for his honor. This is unlike Sasuke who reasons keep changing and not once does he really compete with Naruto on honor or power. He just get jealous like some little kid on a play ground.

Believe me, the one thing this series needs is a little less bromance.

I didn't mention the plot or what people though in general, I just said that to me Kakashi being hokage doesn't make sense and that I don't like it.

 

As for the plot, if it's indeen Naruto chasing Sasuke would be really boring to see, I don't need to say why, for obvious reasons.

If Kakashi is the Hokage then Kishi made another mistake. When Shikaku wanted Kakashi to be the Hokage back when Tsunade was out of the picture, that made sense. But Kakashi ending up Hokage now, it's just as bad as Sasuke's decision to be the Hokage.

If this movie is truly canon and it takes place after the "fight" between Naruto and Sasuke. Then yes it's a joke, because we already know the outcome of this battle. There's no suspense at all.

Tbf I like Naruto's design way more than Sasuke's. With the exception of short hair, Naruto's design is pretty much as expected. Even though it seemed awkward at first, its easier to grow to like his new design whereas Sasuke seems to have a complete fashion change. The turban/bandages, the new clothes, the chains. Its totally unexpected and I really think Sasuke can't pull off this new look. He looks weird, kinda reminds me of the DBZ character Piccolo. The initial sketch was just the upper part of his body but once you get the full sketch, its not gonna be as easy to like as Naruto's design. Naruto's design, like his character, is very simple and I love that.
