Toneri is Sasuke in this movie.
Naruto's gonna save Hinata from being Toneri's wife but he couldn't save Sakura from being Sasuke's.

Hinata and Toneri are wearing the same thing, so maybe he's controlling her through genjutsu to do what he says?

 

 

Maybe the real Hinata was put in a genjutsu by Toneri when she fell off the building and he took her. That way she's daydreaming her life inside the genjutsu. This Hinata might be being controlled through it? I don't see how she would do this stuff willingly lol. And when did they have the time to prepare all this if Hinata is kidnapped during the mission? o_O

At this point, for everyone left in this thread, all this is a purely literary exercise.

 

Anyone who is getting hope out of our speculation and theory crafting wants to have hope.  

 

Will we be let down by SP?  Probably.  But they've given me some unexpected happy endings in the past.  I want to believe that they have better writers on staff than the movie spoilers give an impression of.

In Code Geass, his voice is very pompous, but I kind of like it. Remember the Last trailer in the beginning where Toneki speaks? He sounds almost like Lelouch.

He also voices Kimihiro Watanuki for xxxHolic, Yumichika from Bleach, Grell Sutcliff from Black Butler.

I wonder who named Salad...Sasuke or Sakura? Probably Sasuke since he doesn't give a kitten.

I'm guessing it was over dinner conversation. Sasuke thought Sakura was asking him what he wanted to eat instead of what to name their child when its born, and he kept saying Salad. I imagine he then was gone for 10 months or so and when he came back he see's the child and finds out it's name only to end up leaving again.

I'm hoping that it just doesn't boil down to Naruto saving her using "the power of love". So many of the movies beforehand had a plot that I understood before seeing the movie itself. This one however is a mess. I think it all comes down to the Hinata marketing which is ruining the presentation of the film. It's too focused on her and less focused on the plot.

Godd I love it. and yep! I think I heard his voice in the trailer, they sound really similar I hope he'll have a lot of scenes in the movie LOL.

Hearing Toneki speaking was the highlight of this trailer for me    Afterwards, it just went downhill.

You again. Even though you changed your username, I still remember you. For Christ's sake, just leave this thread alone. It's the only place where people still believe in NaruSaku. Even if NaruSaku does not happen, people WILL MOVE ON. It's not like they'll mourn this sh*tty ending eternally. Let these people be.

 

I look into this forums and see bitterness about the ending. There is a lot, but that's expected. I also see a cycle of getting hyped and disappointed, which is something that comes from this thread. I don't understand why this cycle is taking place and it makes me upset to see you like this. I'm sorry for being sensitive to your pain.

I have a theory for this I wrote a while ago, but nobody said anything about it. I'll post it again:

"I think I have just figured something out that may help with the theory (though it is a bit of a stretch). There was a drama cd called "road to charasuke", and it took place in the rtn world. The rookie nine were out at a restaurant, and they were getting ready to order. Sakura didn't say a word about what she wanted, but Sasuke (or Charasuke) knew she wanted a salad like reading her mind...Maybe kurama is remembering some things from rtn in his dream (rtn is technically canon), and that is why the child is named salad? Hmmm...do you think this could mean something, or am I looking too far into it?"

Yeah though it hasn't been elaborated on, instead we've been getting more and more and more of Hinata.

I think they've spoiled about 70% of Hinata's scenes.
