well, I seem to be in Lily strike lately. Its about time that some people finds her perfect pitch, really. and frankly, I can't wait for a decent Lily/Luka or Lily/Miku duet, or better yet, a trio

I like her dark append voice though, its just too bad that not many people can use her voice properly. its just the stereotype, really.

Miku: High Pitch so much that you gotta wonder if she have 3 feet long neck to fit her vocal cord (When in actuality, she fit better at lower note and softer songs)
Luka: Sexy and haughty (When in actuality, she fits better with darker tone songs, preferably rock)
Lily: Rock and Roll in high note (when actually her full potential is much lower, still higher than Luka but considerably lower than Miku)

I agree with you in general... Miku's voice is way too high... It can sound sooo bad >.<

The problem is that people are too used to the trial version of Miku and most of her demo songs are in high pitch note, thats why they assume that its how her sound supposed to be while actually her full potential is much lower

exactly... its the same issue with Lily actually, her demo was extremely high pitch nearly as high as Miku while her full potential actually barely higher than Luka

told ya, I think the only vocaloid that never have that problem (their demo voice are already quite decent, just need some fine tuning) were Luka and Gakupo... though in Luka's case it was just problem with the music genre. her demo was... well... a cross between pop and rock while her perfect genre supposed to be Dark Rock or soft pop

Hm... I would like Luka in any genre. Her voice is unique (to me at least). But I think that Dark Rock suits her perfectly.

I know you enough that much at least. here's a decent example of a decent Miku/Luka duet, you can clearly see how Miku's high pitch voice sound when combined with Luka's deep one:



Oh, this 1 is a bit slow but the drum beat is good for practice especially for intermediate novice, nothing too hard but also not so simple either
