I got a series of reviews on SoF today - it was from a NaruHina fan! I was expecting him/her to start swearing at around Chapter 5, but the reviews weren't bad at all.

Plus, it would be cool to rope in quite a few NaruHinas and try to show them NaruSaku isn't a bad pairing at all.

Gah, so many characters, so little space to fit them in.

*barfs (damn!)*

That's so awesome, Smiter-san! There really are cool N***H*** fans out there! Kudos to that guy, whoever he is!
I'm all for the subliminal advertising! Do it!!

But, yeah, it was very nice to meet a NH fan who doesn't scream blue murder at any NaruSaku moments.

And I'll try.

Oh, and there are a couple of new NaruSakus on FF.net as well! It looks like a few more people are beginning to write them...
*can't wait for the Return To Konoha in the manga*

Also I noticed something when watching the anime and going back through the manga.
Didn't Lee say that Sakura was popular and THEN preceeded to hit on her? Doesn't that remnd you of the normal high school situation where the unpopular nerd of the class falls for the most popular girl?
On top of that didn't Lee falling for Sakura seem just a little too sudden? After all Lee's an upperclassman. How would he know who Sakura is? On top of that you have to wonder if Lee just wants to be with Sakura because she's the perfect trophy girlfriend or something. He sure tends to think of her as somehting he has to win.
Now Lee's a good guy I know that and I know he wouldn't ever use anybody but when I think about it. Lee's feelings seem to be too artificial to be real. I just see them ending up to be good friends and heck even by that I think Lee would be happy. I bet he'd hold no grudges if Naruto did get with Sakura. In fact he would be happy for them both.
And then he'd challenge his favorite rival to a game of Jaken (sp?)

I'm guessing that Lee just tends to be very direct with girls he likes the look of - just a "side effect" of him taking after Gai.
But of course, I agree that he and Sakura will become good friends.

And I also want to see them having a rivalry! XD You can even see Lee trying to outdo Naruto (and failing) at ramen eating. (I think it's spelt Janken)
One thing I really like about NaruSaku is that Naruto doesn't see Sakura as a winning.

I guess that the NH and SS don't like us because we clash with their pairings. They compliment each other so they get on, but we're a "threat" to both their pairings.

I think Lee would understand too. I think he'd be happy for them, I mean he's not completely obsessed with Sakura. He'd prolly pull an "I'm happy because you're happy" thing. Besides, he respects Naruto... I think he respects Naruto more than he respects Sasuke.

I think he said something along the lines of that Naruto was amazing because he beat both Neji and Gaara the two people he couldn't beat.
I think he deeply respects Naruto and he's probably the first of the nine genin's who did. I mean when you look at how Shika and Chouji treated Naruto at first you tend to see that Lee respects him more.
Although I don't know why Shika was calling Naruto an idiot since he did almost as bad as Naruto at the academy. Then again we didn't know he was a genius either.

When you think about it, the title of strongest of the 9, along with Gai's team, is fought between Sasuke, Neji and Naruto. Chouji is extremely strong (or was if he died) but his strenght is not recognised. Shino would be a contestant but he's not really into rivalries it would appear.
Even if you count him something strikes us when you look at it: Naruto is the only one without a bloodline limit! Give him the Sharingan and you'd get a super genius (or another arrogant @$$)

Nah Naruto needs the Byakuuingan!
He'd then dominate Super Femmy Sasuke
but then he'd be too strong since he also has the Kyuubi.
Lee could be a contender for the strongest if he wasn't so obsessed with Gai but you could also factor Gaara into the contest of who's the strongest of all the characters.

I don't think there is a strongest of them all. I think that they all have various skills that allow each of them to succeed in different situations. It's almost like determining what art is good; there's no clear answer.

I mean really if Sasuke can copy any technique without any of the work how is that anywhere NEAR fair? It's like giving him a total advantage over everyone else.

Sure, Naruto has a demon in his own belly, but it can be more of a curse than a benefit. He continues to work very hard to learn and perfect jutsus - he's not always bright but he has a hell of a workrate.
Same goes for Lee (minus the demon part of course). He can't do nin/genjutsus, but he has worked extremely hard to perfect his taijutsu.
Neji is very cool as well, his Byakugan is a strong ability but you know he mastered Jyuuken with no/very little help. He even taught himself Kaiten and Hakke 64 Hands - two high level Head Family techniques. He still trained very hard and I respect that.
Sasuke used to be cool, but it is too easy for him to just pick up and copy things with no real effort. The only things we've seen him work really hard on were chakra control and the Chidori. That's not counting all that practice he did before he awoke the Sharingan.
Naruto was partly right when he called Sasuke's victory over that chakra-sucking guy in the Chuunin exam "a lame way to win". I mean, he copied and imitated Lee's taijutsu - something that the green beast spent YEARS of hard training on. Sasuke used it as if it was nothing.

Dammit I wanted to see Lee go down there and kick Sasuke's ass for stealing his move. Especially since Lee REALLY had to work on it while Sasuke had to be cheap to learn it.
Also when Naruto made his variation on it and turned the Lion Combo into the Uzumaki Naruto Rendan he at least put some effort into it. Because after all he doesn't have the sharingan like Sasuke does so it'd be technically harder for him to learn techniques.

That's the whole 'Hard work beats genius' thing coming back at us, although (As I think Gai said) they are geniuses of hard work

They made Naruto evil and made him stay in the Akatsuki.
Now wouldn't THAT go against his entire character? I mean unlike Sasgay I don't see Naruto turning evil and betraying all his friends. Even if he did lose his memory and then gain it back he'd rather go back to Konoha than stay with the Akatsuki.
Although I loved how Sakura realized how much she loved Naruto.
Heh yeah it isn't fair for the most part I mean Neji doesn't HAVE the ability to copy jutsu's with his technique but that's what makes him awesome. He's a hard worker who's been training for a long time in his quest for revenge against the main house.
Sasuke's just a jutsu thief. Heck look at how Kakashi and Itachi use their sharingan's compared to Sasuke.
Kakashi used his to freak out Zabuza which was literally awesome. I loved how Zabuza thought Kakashi could read the future.
Itachi doesn't need to copy jutsu's cause he's got Tsukiyoma. After all why would you need jutsu's when you have a technique as awesome as that.
Sasuke meanwhile is ripping off anyone he can just to get stronger.
