So I just checking up on the latest volume of Black Clover that came out here early, and I noticed something: 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Truth be told my cousin pointed that out to me, and I was like huh Yuki Tabata did scene only with his own little spin on it. I like it.

RIP to Asta's seiyuu. No way, his voice will survive 51 episodes of screaming. It'll be his first and last major voice acting.

3 episodes in, and he's doing a great job especially with the yelling not sounding like a motor engine.

When I have my headphones on, I feel like certain vibrations come out of Asta's screaming. It's weird.

Same. It's one of those rare instances where I really prefer the dub over the subs and usually I'm the kinda guy who can watch both, but yeah... didn't work well with this one. 51 episodes so where would they end the anime at then..

Hmm again if the the anime is actually for 51 episodes then I actually wouldn't mind the filler. if it is only 13, then like I said they shot themselves in the foot because they bored the audience with 2 episodes with worthless filler that does nothing to advance the plot of a very short time frame til the next season of the anime, when they could have advanced the plot much sooner and keep the viewers engaged like BnHA. Again, I'm only saying this because I LOVE the potential this manga has and I don't want the anime adaptation going into the gutter. If the anime is going to run for sat least six months a whole year then ( that is 20+ to 50+ episodes) the fillers are not that sluggish then for the anime as a whole, but it it is a 12 -13 episode anime only than the SLIGHTEST ONCE of filler was a huge, detrimental mistake and the manga readers (of which there are many I hear) will have their rage at how long it took to reach Chapter 2 completely justified.

 

Again for Asta's  seiyuu, Gakuto Kajiwara, for me it is not the fact that he is yelling all the time that makes me cringe it is the fact that when he DOES yell Asta sounds like a friggin motor engine that won't damn well turn off, but obviously He's gonna have moments where he's not yelling. It's not the shouting that annoys me it is the quality of the voice he gives Asta. But I don't mind it personally. and it Seems that the English voice actor, Dallas Reid doesn't tone down the yelling but at least he is more tolerable to hear with how the voice sounds that's probably what fans are thinking when the say the prefer the English Dub

well aside from Asta's yelling, Episode 6 was good though I can guarantee the dub will handle it better when it comes out.  We get introduced to the black bulls, and for the most part it works I liked how they were executed in the anime. Also I got to give a shout out to Nana Mizuki on her performance as Vanessa, very spot on. Charmy was almost perfect kinda how I pictured her voice when I was reading the manga. The rest of the black bulls were also great too. 

 

Though, it seems we are going to get the one chapter per episode treatment based on this week and last week's episode which could be issue for later on down the road unless the pacing for that starts to change. 

 

 

Next week I'm hella excited cause Noelle's first full appearance is next week.

You know with the speed Black Clover goes through their arcs in the manga it isn't a bad thing the anime takes its time. Also finally had the time to catch up with the anime; it was good.

As  an aftermath chapter i think it worked pretty well, and the ending while I kinda saw it coming was great. Once again showcasing the conflict in Asta's character as it's been for the last couple of chapters is great. 

 

I know Phantom is gonna be excited about Noelle thinking about Asta lol

Actually I think he was a considered for Black Bull a while back since it was heavily implied Yami gave him that robe lol

 

But yes I love the outcome of this chapter and can't wait to see what happens next. One thing theat weighs heavily on my mind though is that I hope that the individual squad adventures and missions don't get completely sidelined for this new plot point because I highly enjoy  how each squad does their missiions together. 

 

Plus Asta and Noelle are back together. As it should be

Other than that the episode itself was good in terms of content, but again so far pacing is kind of my concern.

I totally agree that's been the only issue I've had with the anime is that we've been pretty much adapting 1 chapter per episode, which I don't really understand cause there are lot of chapters  at this point, so I don't understand why they have to play it safe.  Honestly, if we got the 2 chapter per episode treatment this easily could've been like episode 3 if the pacing was adapted properly. 

 

 

The only upside to this is that so far they're not pulling the same kitten  they did with Tokyo Ghoul cause man that was really aggravating especially Root A ugh the memories.... I fear for Re to the point where I have no faith in the anime.

I've had problems with the pacing since episode 2  so that complaint is not really news to me lol.

 

but other than that the episode was good with Noelle's intro. It is just heartbreaking to see how unloved she was, which is  another reason I want Her and Asta married

 

On a side note though. I found how she threw her robe on the floor and saying the Black Bulls are beneath her is a bit..... out of place. Not because it was not within her character, because it is. It is that I am sure Noelle understands that she's not in the squad by choice, but because Nozel sent her there and she has nowhere else to go.

 

Other than that I look forward the the story finally kicking off and for some of the Asta X Noelle moments to be animated
