but the whiskers don't make any sense. Naruto has them because he's the jinchuuriki of the kyuubi. It's not something genetical.

So, in order to get the whiskers, you need to have the kyuubi involved, right?...

Maybe, naruto gave half of his kyuubi for hinata whether it's a internal or external way of giving :-|

Purposefully misleading us? It's happened in this manga before according to Chatte. If he had whiskers too, it'd be too obvious that something is wrong. If NH was really canon, I see no reason why there wasn't any interaction between the two. Like that scene between Minato and Hinata would have sufficed. Especially since Naruto is the main character lol. Ino + Sai, Choji + Karui were the only ones who got some interaction. The rest? No Sasusaku and no Naruhina interaction. The two main pairings. It doesn't even make sense how both Bolt and Himawari (gosh I love her name) has those markings in the first place, unless her mother is a jinchuriki. toneri step in rn

If it's used on both of them, doesn't that mean that Hinata's the mother? Why would both NS's son and [Lee and?] Hinata's daughter be weak?

 

 

 

 

I still don't get how the IT fits into all this. Isn't chapter 700 the last chapter already? If it's true that their dreams are intertwined, how and when would Kishi show the IT being dispelled?

 

Could it have something to do with the Byakugan and the fact that Lee can't use genjutsu/ninjutsu? If you think about it, Lee's son doesn't have blue eyes, so say he didn't inherit the Byakugan or anything but what would happen if Himawari inherited the genes for the Byakugan but she also inherited Lee's inability to use genjutsu/ninjustu? Could there be an adverse reaction?

Seems like you have whiskers if you have a portion of the Nine-Tails chakra and I'm thinking the reason why Mito didn't have it or Kushina is because they were of the Uzumaki clan (can't their chakra suppress the nine-tails or something?) So, I'm thinking, for some reason, Himawari and Bolt were given part of the Kyuubi's chakra. The only problem now, is to find out why.

Yes..both of them were trapped inside the kyuubi body and they managed to survive thanks to the kyuubi part that had been eaten by them ..

Wouldn't he be in the academy or something? Then it cuts to Lee and his kid (whose mother isn't shown). I don't think Ten-ten would count since she was in her shop and had it nothing to do with family or kids. Ten-ten's scene cut right into Bolt walking outside her shop. All the scenes that are connected with each other show up in the last panel before the next page is shown. There has to be a reason why, if it really was NH/SS we would have had some interaction since they're the main pairings of the story. Also it looks like the NH/SS scenes were placed conveniently next to each other to make them seem believable, yet no interaction

 

I really hope that scene of Sakura cleaning was just conveniently placed there to make us believe something. I need some "#1 medical ninja in Konoha" action!!

 

Also, as it has been pointed out before, Sakura's place is right next to the Hokage building.

 

EDIT: Everything seems like a ploy to throw us off. I think the movie may turn out to be a good thing

YEAP. The panels are all connected. It's weird how Hinata would be home that fast when Boruto comes back if she's the mother.

No, is not like that. Both dudes ate Kurama's flesh and Naruto was born from a Jinchiruki, hence his body was "created" in her stomach (?) where Kurama "was". Anyway, Kushina and Mito didn't have the wiskers because Kurama was just SEALED on them.

Hmm.. who were their parents? Are tailed beats inherited from mother to child? I thought Minato had to seal it into Naruto because he wanted to give him the power to use when he's older. So he just got the markings and not the kyubi originally. 

 

Naruto got his whisker marks from being inside Kushina's womb and being directly exposed the Kyuubi's chakra I believe.
