Ramen read the raw, said it was worse than the translations and left without going into detail about it. MS says its present tense, Google translate says its in present tense and none of our translators are around

 

So its a pretty anxious and annoying day we're having here....

What I thought was a head scratcher was Sakura's comment saying if there was any love left in his heart for her (or something like that). Wha? It makes me wonder if Kishi is going to put more emphasis in the future on Sakura's interactions with Sasuke in part 1, where it really looked like they had a connection.

 

Also sort of bummed because this gushing statement to Sasuke, a confession of sorts, means that her confession to Naruto must have been less honest than I originally thought, her words about 'I already have someone' to LoverNin and her reflection about Sasuke must have been more genuinely reflecting her feelings for Sasuke, and her pounding of Naruto after he said 'she's my uh...girlfried,' must not have been as rooted in embarrassment over her feelings for Naruto as I'd originally thought. Bummer.

 

And I can I just say I HATE the way Naruto reacts to these situations! He gets all whiny towards Sasuke, instead of being pissed as he should be. I mean, Sasuke just cut her down in front of him, and then inflicted a violent genjutsu meant to disable the body and break the mind.... And Naruto's whining about it? Then even after Sasuke goes on to say she's basically useless to him, Naruto still doesn't step up and tell him to stick it. He just says and does nothing. Ugh.

 

And what was the last line about hoping Sasuke finds another love, other than that for his mother? What a weird, out-of-left-field thing to say. Like, who cares? It has to be forshadowing to keep SS hanging on. 

 

(And actually with all this straightforward love talk coming from and about Sasuke, I now expect there to be a full blown acknowledgement scene from Sasuke to Sakura before it's all over.) 

 

Anyway the reset button has been officially pushed. The relationships are all back to square one. Sakura just confessed to Sasuke and begged him not to go again, he told her she was annoying again, and he knocked her out again. Naruto promised to bring Sasuke home again. And now they've gone off to fight at the Valley of the End again. *sigh*

 

The only thing interesting is that Sasuke's going to teach Naruto the true meaning of Hokage, which was stated early on in the manga as the most powerful in the village, not necessarily the most well-liked as Naruto is saying. And Sasuke has always been more powerful than Naruto. Plus he's craftier, wilier and fights dirtier than Naruto. So it will be interesting to see what Sasuke has up his sleeve this time.

 

One thing's for certain, a single battle isn't going to resolve anything at this point. If Naruto wins, Sasuke isn't coming back. He isn't going to acknowledge Naruto or be kind to Sakura or Kakashi. He isn't going to just surrender and return home to become an active part of the village. Won't happen.

 

If Naruto's ultimate goal is to bring Sasuke, then there's going to have to be another arc or two. I'm glad there's a movie/part 3/next phase coming up. Because Kishimoto just rebooted the whole story.

Yeah that's kind of what gets me too. That's why I was upset. You see This hurts NS's development in more ways than one. If He wants them together at the end then it just seems like they will hook up automatically like a fairy tale. It's not that they had no development, It's that it is not even elaborated upon, and it looks like Sakura did not reciprocate Naruto feelings during this time which is what makes it seem that them getting together at the end is just superficial after thought. The developments that they as as a potential couple are getting is just being brushed off, and it hurts to think that those developments don't matter until the ends which just makes them look like excuses.

 

Even if Sasuke is reformed at the end, and Sakura tells Naruto she loves him, it does not even look like she even does it cause she prefers Naruto, it's because she is disgusted with Sasuke's actions and does not want to be with a criminal but prefers him to Naruto, only choosing Naruto on principle and not love. Which is why I have already said that doing this damages their relationship by any standard, not because she loves Sasuke, but becasue she makes a big deal of her feelings for Sasuke and does not show her feelings for Naruto enough that it seems she is not choosing because of her feelings but because of her morals. Isn't that thought depressing?

 

If NS happens at this point I'll be happy that they are together but I will never be satisfied with the reasons. It will only look like and arranged relationship which Sakura just agreed, because like this it is giving everyone the impression that she not realizing Naruto is her true love, She just realizes Sasuke is not the the one for her and she is trying  compensate for it. It looks like that because She is not acknowledging that She loves Naruto even at this point. which is why that it detrimental to keep on putting what she feels toward Naruto as a mystery and makes you wonder if what NH and SS says is somewhat valid.

The thing is, that doesn't make sense. Mangapanda was usually the source that was the most accurate, I really don't think that they changed that sentence so many times than in one chapter. 
Couldn't it be one of the raws that are translated from English to Japanese? It just doesn't make sense, it contradicts what Kakashi has said just some time ago. (Your feelings changed = I STILL love you (??) That's stupid...)

I seriously just want this all to be over. I just want the tease to stop, for the back and forth crap to stop. Over it. I love Sakura, she is my favorite character in all of the series, but damn it, who ever said, "why didn't she say anything to Naruto?" was right! No "good luck," or "I know you can do it."

 

I hate Sasuke so much, and it kills me to know that he lives through this whole stupid thing. Forgiveness only goes so far. Sasuke attempted to stab Sakura 3 times now?(Full me once shame on him, full me twice shame on me, full me three times it's time for an intervention!) UGH UGH UGH HOW CAN ANYONE SUPPORT AN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP?! HOW?!?!?!?!?!?!

 

I was very calm when I responded the first time but my anger is rising. I still stand by that Sakura can resolve her feelings in whatever dream world she's in and finally be able to let go of Sasuke and love Naruto the way she wants. But I also say that anything can happen, any pairing is still up for grabs. We know Sasuke lives, and therefore he will be able to love again, to what extent or if he can actually love someone in an "eros" way we won't know until that time comes.
