I think most of the guys here are wishing for that just for the NH/SS stop being in denial because he already did that, i dont see why the necessity of he saying that when there's no reason, Mina/Kushi and Naru/Saku is already settled although it wasnt a shortcut for it to end, the only thing that remains is how Sakura feelings for Sasuke stands, it's the only thing left if she doesnt love him anymore or shows hints that she's already over him then this is the shortcut for it to end definitively.

Let's say NS is made canon by a kiss on the last panel of the chapter and it is actually written "NaruSaku Wins"

Oh I highly doubt that they will continue to rage and say how terrible a writer Kishimoto is. To this day there are still angry fans raging out that Inuyasha and Kagome got married even if both anime and manga showed so much development of the pairing, there are still fans raging out that Ranma married Akane even when they were out to get marry by their parents in the first chapter and even with the so much development done to the pairing. If NS becomes canon it will not be any different with these series I mentioned.

I'm certainly hopeful that Minato's presence may end up with another NarSaku development. All he has to do is exploit Naruto's feelings for Sakura in a pestering way. I really want to see Sakura's reaction, knowing that Minato is naruto's father..

I dont even care the difference is that haters will still hate Sakura, even if she gets a powerup and defeat the juubi single-handed they will still hate her, it's too late to change it people started hating her on part 1 with a reason and it's not going to change.
the first impression is what lasts, and Sakura's first impression was horrible also as Naruto and i dont wonder why Naruto have hard times to score at least the second or thid places on popularity pool, on the begining of shippuuden he barely scored 5th thanks to Sasuke and his paranoia.
Sasuke destroyed the begining of the shippuuden.

They were screaming canon with 615. Then 616 had Kurama telling us that he only held her hand to give her chakra. Kishimoto is mean.

But even if we don't get NaruSaku here, it won't be as disappointing. NaruHina is pretty dead now. Hinata's development is pretty much... complete. Naruto and Sakura still have PLENTY of time to grow together.

It won't be a complete loss, I mean Minato does not need to do the stuff we are hoping for now, if he actually gets time to talk to Sakura, possibly being present for the Naruto vs Sasuke fight (if he has a reason to stay around) then he may gain more insight to Sakura.

The possibility of Minato talking to Sakura and possibly making a reference can range from between 631 to whenever Minato returns to the afterlife.

Its just funny how many anti-NS fans are on alert only because of this simple notion. The difference between the NH fans and their hopes in 616 was, well, they were hoping for a bit too much, expecting that Hinata would somehow herself help Naruto against the jubbi alone or possibly with just bee. The NS expectations are well, highly within reason, its not a matter of power, its not a matter of handling a situation. Its just Naruto and Sakura at point A and Minato at point B only 10 feet ahead, all Minato has to do is simply turn around and face them, that is all. This is the only action we are expecting with the possibility of Sakura and Minato interacting.

Though I still got a bit of a laugh I mean some fans claimed Naruto not saying anything to Sakura should be taken as a red flag that Naruto does not care and was not impressed. Um, so Naruto just stopped caring about Sakura two or 5 days ago before the current situation? The war is only a 2 day war, its going to end soon. Geez, part of me is hoping for this NS-MK confirmation only to serve as a severe gut punch to the haters.

I don't think it's gonna be like 615 considering it's completely different. They had thought that afterwards, they would "fight together" and that she would be the only one to get chakra but then the whole army got their share.

This moment is different considering, there's no actual buildup to the point where we're gonna be "disappointed". I mean, why would we be? Because Minato didn't say anything to Sakura? I'm almost certain he will, or she will. She's right there. So even if our deepest desires regarding Minato, Sakura, and Naruto don't come to fruition, it doesn't mean NS is dead. Not in the slightest. It just means there was no interaction. But I'm willing to bet we won't be disappointed.

Derock. I've noticed you've been getting more active on the forums lately. Is it because of the events happening in the manga dealing with possible NS moments or because of NaruSaku week?
