I both love and hate starting over... the fact that I continue to lose contact with my rl (okay guys, we all know were just internet buddies XD) friends kinda disturbs me. It's not a falling out or anything, it's just they either seem to transfer colleges or majors and then our schedules rarely give us time to chat. Hard to say if I have any rl friends left that I'll maintain regular contact with.

That being said, I'm pretty out there, to the point I'm even surprised that I have friends at times. I'm likely the most awkward guy you'll ever meet, more so because everyone around me (even my parents) question why I laugh all the time, even when things aren't funny. Since this is your blog though James, best not lay down most of my personal issues here unless they share something in common

To hate: To love less (apparently).

I don't think we can hate people we love. At best, we can admit that they are human, that they make mistakes just like us and that it is best that each one goes in their separate ways. Is up to you to keep looking back as she tries to call you to the past, or to keep walking forward (even though that means ignoring said person).

We choose what we let into our lives/hearts/minds. We have that power.

A friend of mine tried to commit suicide last night and I couldn't stop him. Just goes to show you can't save everyone all the time. Oh he is not dead, but it is a moment I felt so powerless.

Good to hear he's okay. I've never had to experience this in life and I hope I don't have to. I hope the best for your friend and hope he can recover from this incident and find the positives that give life it's meaning.

I tend to have trouble allowing people to get close to me and have a very small group of friends who I am willing to confide to. Everyone else ends up becoming more of an acquaintance than an actual friend. I believe I am socially awkward do do to the troubles I have had with other people in the past and my uncontrollable shyness.

I keep having the same nightmare about the same subjects. One is about my ex-fiance who.....well I don't want to talk about it and the second subject is that when everyone founds out about said thing I get shunned. Shunned to the point of my existence being erased.
